ঔ::CAT's APPEARANCE ৳:: Weightless. That's how she liked to imagine herself. Sitting on a bridge above a waterway, she could feel the rushing of wind beneath her paws through the rickety wood that separated her from the fishing boats below. It suited her that she liked to imagine she was drifting through the air, because she was a very lightweight cat. Her whispy fur betrayed how frail-boned she was, and the rest of her features were suitably delicate; though she did have a plain-featured face. The she-cat's pelt was a mottled, dingy chocolate point, with a dark bobbed tail. Just the tips of each of her toes were white, as was a stripe up the center of her face, and a dot on her chin, adding to her dainty overall pelt coloring. But there was something about the fire behind her bright spring-green eyes that could make you think twice, an element about the air she held herself with that made her seem fearless; and proud in a way that you had to -earn-.

[b]ঔ::PERsONALITY ৳:: Living your life knowing you were different had a way of changing a cat. Growing up, she'd had to overcome greater obstacles than trying to become the bravest fighter or the most efficient hunter. She'd had to face challenges from within herself, battled with her own feelings of affection for not just tomcats, but she-cats too. She'd loved and lost, and the experience had jaded her, because not only had she lost the cat she'd first loved, but she lost her best friend that she'd grown up with since kit-hood and in the crucial years of her adolescence, and that wasn't something that was too easy to let go of, especially because of the circumstances.
She'd been a curious cat in her youth, although shy, and had been more sensitive to other cat's hurt feelings or harsh tones. Even though she did keep to herself most of the time, she would brazenly defend any cat who was being taken advantage of or insulted. Kaede also interestingly liked watching sports games above the simple middle-school close-by to the camp. The way the two-legs ran all over the field like mad after some sort of ball or another had always made her whiskers twitch with amusement.

[b]ঔ::HIsTORY ৳::Her first best friend had been a golden kitty-pet named Pichu who lived with a young girl in the local school. Whenever she'd had free time, she had visited Pichu in secret, until one day expressing her feelings of affection for the young she-cat. Remarkably, Pichu had shared her feelings, and the two cats had been happy for a short time in their secret get-aways, until Pichu's two-leg left middle school. Since Pichu's two-leg had been accepted into a prestigious high school on the main-land of Japan near one of the cities, her family had decided to move there to be closer to her and to help her in school.
Kaede had been crushed, and Pichu was just as upset, wondering if she should run away and stay behind with Kaede. But Kaede knew the life a clan cat could offer wasn't the kind of life Pichu knew and loved, and the golden cat would have missed her two-leg too much. So as the family packed the furnishings up and shipped them out, the two cats had sat together on the lawn, sharing tongues for the last time. As the two-leg family waited in line to board a ferry that would take them away, Kaede had braved the rainy weather that day to stand in view of Pichu as her two-leg held her in a carrier. In the stormy chaos the weather was causing, Kaede was able to sneak up and touch noses with Pichu as she sat in her crate, whispering her goodbyes, before the two-legs boarded the ferry. When the doors closed, the cat raced away, un-able to watch it leave... but her paw-steps took her above the bridge where the people walked over the waterway, and she could see, beneath her, the ferry pulling away that held the cat she had loved first, and would always cherish, until she saw her again in Starclan.

ঔ::PLOT IDEAS ৳:: [font=georgia]As I roleplay more with the family, more plots will develop, but off the top of my head, this character is probably going to have drama already, because I'm roleplaying her as a bi-sexual cat~ liking both male toms and the occasional she-cat.
She is going to be a cat who loves the ocean, so when she explores fishing boats, she could accidentally get trapped and shipped away to another part of the island, or someplace further away even. She could either find her way back home or make a new life for herself where her ship docks.
She might also wish one day to visit her first mate, who has a home inland, and that would be a journey she might want to take a cat with? They could learn about the island and maybe bring back some kind of mission or news for the clan.

[b]::{{Appearance}}::Well formed and proportionate, Firaga was a stocky tom, with broad shoulders and a dense, coarse pelt. His eyes were wide, and large set, with the clear-sky blue of his pointed-breeding. An off-white pelt dominates, with the remarkably bright orange splashes on the tom's face, tail, and toes, surrounded by pale peach speckles. His tail was the cropped style of the Japanese bobtail, and it seemed to fluff out ridiculously; bristly and orange. The splash of color on his face were the orange tabby stripes of careful design, and his ears were bright colored as well. As far as his gait went, Firaga was the type of tom that didn't take too much notice of where he walked; he wasn't overly cautious, and that could land him in trouble...

[b]::{{Personality}}::Obnoxious. Firaga was a simple, blunt cat. He didn't tip-toe around any sensitive issues, getting things right out into the open so any problems could be solved. He didn't like confrontations, however, and would usually delegate resolving any issues he knew about to a cat of higher status. Firaga was a very observant cat, although not the sharpest tool in the shed, and learned from experience the best. He enjoyed watching two-legs bustle themselves around the local villages, and occasionally went sight-seeing by way of the boats that went from their old fashioned island, to the mainland, seeking the greater activity on the other side.

[b]::{{Plot Ideas}}::He's a tomcat who will follow his curiousity into trouble, and enjoys the energy that comes off of old shrines. In his adventuring, he could come across old spirits that might possess him, or get on a local farmer's cart that takes him someplace he's unfamiliar with and has to find his way back home.
Sorry, I feel like I don't have much plot to contribute. But I'm a great brainstormer, and if my character is chosen, I can observe the family and the clan and start to think up more plots.
