Mountainkit walked to the fresh-kill pile and took a small mouse. He smiled at his siblings.

But Mistkit wouldn't answer. Cloudkit still would have kept the mouse if she hadn't walked away. She didn"t want that mouse anymore. Slowly she padded to the Nursery and laid down at the back of the Nursey.

Cloudkit rolled her eyes. she swallowed the mouse and jumped around.
