    Ch. 1: Redwood.
Redwood woke up shaking his red tabby fur. he started to groom his ruffled fur when his ears perked hearing a weird whalelike nose coming from the glittering blue lake next to him. he was at lochness lake, or thats what twolegs called it. there was a legend saying that there was a cat living on an island on the lake. lochness lake was really long. it was farther than he could see with his little chocolate brown eyes. then he was startled to be hit by something scratchy. he went rolling as he heard a twoleg screeching something. taking this as a warning redwood darted onto the silver railing and leaped down to the edge of the lake. he started to run on the edge of the lake, his eyes never leaving the sparkling blue water. suddenly he bumped into another cat. "sorry! so so sorry! i was uh-" he started. "dont worry, but what are you doing in such a rush?" asked the beautiful pale gray she-cat with dazzling blue eyes in a russian accent. "oh i uh err was um. do you know about the lochness cat?" he asked stuttering a bit, getting lost in her pretty eyes. "Oh that is an old cat-tale i am afraid. when i was younger i tried to look for it. but this lake, its endless." she said mysteriously. "Endless?" he asked almost horrified. "Yes you know means there is no end? by the way my name is Luna." she introduced herself. "i know what endless means, and nice to meet you. my name is redwood but i have no time to speak. i need to find that lochness cat even if you think its all an old cat-tale!" he announced. "wait let me come with you!" she said pleadingly. "fine but you are going to have to help me with ever single obstacle!" he insisted before starting to walk.
