  • Alyec bounded after Zhanna and soon caught up. He took the lead and began heading towards a place in the forest that was rich with prey.

  • Zhanna cast her senses as far as she could and a sound soon caught her attention. The sound came from her left and she quickly bounded over. In no time she was back with a plump mouse dangling from her jaws.

    Fang paced around camp.

  • Alyec scented the air, his jaws slightly parted. Within moments, he scented prey. He stood still for a moment, pinpointing the unsuspecting animal's location. There, he thought as he saw a thrush hopping along the ground a little ways away.
Alyec crept forward, his paws making no sound on the forest floor. When he was close enough, he rushed forward. When he stood up straight, the thrush was dangling from his jaws. He looked around then dropped the prey and scraped some ((DURT!)) dirt over it.

  • Jill frowned, why was she still in camp? she didnt know, she stood up and padded out of camp to hunt.

  • Fang watched Jill go and turned his attention to the rest of the camp. It was so quiet, abit too quiet for his liking.

Zhanna had watched Alyec's kill with excitement. For some reason, another animal's death brought the she-cat an unexplainable pleasure. It might not have been the animal's death itself, but rather the fact that the animal had no power to stop the inevitable. She held back a sick grin and covered her own prey in dirt.

  • Jill opened her mouth, she scented a squirrel, easy! she thought seeing it eating an acorn, it was too busy with it to notice her, she leaped at it and ripped it's neck, the blood starting to pour, she smiled a dark smile, and buried the limp body so she could come back for it.

  • Alyec lifted his head again, jaws parted. Before the scent even reached Alyec, he saw a mouse sniffing among the roots of a tree. Lowering his nose, he moved around the tree to keep himself downwind of the mouse. He crept forward. As he prepared to shoot forward, he front paw landed on a crunchy leaf.
The mouse lifted it's head and began to scuttle away. Alyec leaped forward and cornered the mouse with his paws before it could retreat to its hole. He killed the mouse with a swift bite to the neck, enjoying the taste of fresh blood in his mouth.

  • Zhanna almost forgot to keep looking as she watched the others. She went her own direction when she remembered what she had gone out for and began stalking a bluebird. She crept from behind; it didn't hear her. What fun was that? She purposefully made an attempt to scare the bird and let it take off no more then a tail lenth from the ground. With powerful claws she macked it down, throwing it into shock, and she killed it with a nip to the neck.

  • "As was yours." she returned the compliment. "Shall we continue further?" she asked.

Fang picked up a peice of freash kill and sat down to eat it.

  • "Of course," Alyec replied. "We'll move a bit deeper before returning to camp." Alyec led deeper into the forest.

  • "what else?" Jillson meowed, gazing around.

  • "Perhaps," Alyrec replied. "But I doubt any of the Light Ones would try to tread on our territory and attack us. They would only come to 'make friends,' as they call it," he spat.
Alyec scented prey and pinpointed the sound and smell of the animal. He zipped forward. When he lifted his head, a mouse dangled from his jaws.

  • 'He's right.' she thought to herself. But she loved to see Serah, or any Light One for that matter, because her stare sent chills down their spines witch sent chills down her spine, good chills.

  • Alyec dropped the mouse and shrugged. "If you wish to do a border patrol, you may. I, on the other hand, am going to return to camp bearing newly-killed prey." He picked up the mouse, padded back through the forest to get his other prey, then returned to camp. He dropped the fresh-kill on the pile.

  • Ghost sat in the medicine den, carefully sorting burdock from juniper. His movements were slow, precise, and thought-out before done. Inside him, though, there was a ball of excitement and energy bouncing around like the ball in a pinball game, for tonight was the Gathering! He resented his brother, Conker, but couldn't help but want to see him. His Clanmates resented him, and pushed him away when he tried to make contact with him, all because of his stupid brother. Also, he had heard that Conker had heard about a new way to use chervil, and he wanted to know. He had overheard it was good for fever.

OOC: This is how to treat Ghost, 'kay? And also, will there be a separate thread thread for the Gathering? Because if there's not, I'll have to keep switching threads, and the peeps over at the Light Ones won't know what the hell I am rabbiting on about.
