Alex opened the door silently.

Lestat walked out and closed Sophie's door behind him, he looked up and saw Alex, "Hey."

Alex stared at him. "I didn't mean to." she said, holding out tw beheaded Elizabeth.

"It's ok Alex." He said in a soothing voice.

She stared at him. " Are you sure?" se said nervous.

He nodded, "Sophie's up."

Alex smiled slightly and set her body down. "can I see her?" she asked in a motherly way.

Lestat shrugged, "She's in her room."

Alex looked at him then hugged him. "I am sorry."

He chuckled, "It's okay."

She looked up at him and smiled, before kissing him.

He smiled, "Let's go check on Sophie I mean she doesn't even know what happened yet."

Alex nodded. And bean to walk to Sophies room.

Lestat followed her. _ Sophie sat on the bed watching the door.

Alex opened the door and stepped in.

Sophie jumped up and ran to Alex as if to hug her, then she saw Lestat and backed away, "What is he doing here?" she asked Alex. _ Lestat leaned on the doorway.

Alex walked over to her. "Lestat is here because this is his house. " she said slowly, leaning down to look at her eye level.

She smiled at Alex, "But he scares me."

"Why does he scare you?" she asked, chuckling slightly.
