Paradise stepped lightly, until she felt a sharp pain.
"Ow!"
She looked at her paw, to see a thorn.
"Oh, shoot."
She pulled it out with her teeth, and covered it with a leaf, trying hard not to cry or anything.
It was a rather large thorn. She had never seen one so big. -

Kapu perked his ears as he looked at Paradise.

"Kapu?" Frost called, coming out of the nursery. "Acernis wants to join us. She's a pup - and she'll die if we don't help her."

Kapu turned Hs wad quickly to look at Frost. "Well. You must care for her, if not, she must leave." He tried to be like Dark, but inside he was regretting his speech.

Paradise looked over at Kapu.
"Kapu, are you feeling well?"
She asked, a slight grin on her face. -
