Rippaw and Ashpaw's upbringing(OPEN)

IC: Darkpaw layed her head on her paws as she layed under the shady tree, trying to cool down since her pitch black fur attrackted the sun.
"Darkpaw!" Bonepaw and Bloodpaw bounded over to her.
She glared at her brothers with her silvery eyes and they stopped before they could tumble into her,"What?" she hissed.
Rippaw sighed.
Shadowheart stopped conversing with Selene and padded over to Dawnpaw and Rosepaw,"Hello, young apprentices.
OOC: Shadowheart's also the leader of their little clan.

"I have decided for your mentors, Rosepaw, your mentor will be Fall. Fall! Come meet your new apprentice."
Fall padded over, his auburn fur shining in the sunlight,"Hello, I'm Fall."
"And Dawnpaw, I will be your mentor."
"We were just assigned our mentors, I got Soulreaper." Bloodpaw said excitedly.
Bonepaw looked glum,"I got mom..."
Darkpaw chuckled,"I feel sorry for you, my brother. I have not gotten mine quite yet, though, knowing Shadowheart, I figure I will be assigned to either Ashtree or Duststorm."
Rippaw looked around and then padded over to his mother, Shadowheart,"Mom, can I be given a mentor now so I can train finally?"
She rolled her eyes,"Oh fine. Let me see... Ah, yes, Nightrose will mentor you."

"Selene?" Shadowheart mewed. She followed his gaze to Darkpaw,"Oh... That's Darkpaw and her brothers, Bonepaw and Bloodpaw. Their mother's Silverleaf, over there." she indicated to the pure white she-cat talking with Selene-they looked almost identical.
"Oh tom! No fair! Hey, do you wanna take mom and I'll be reassigned?" Bonepaw asked eagerly.
Darkpaw stood and stretched,"No way you mouse-brain. I'm going to talk to Shadowheart 'bout it right now so see ya." she padded away towards Shadowheart and the others around her.
"'Tis nice to meet you." meowed Fall

Rippaw looked up at his brother,"Yo! Dude, come with me, I have new information on how we can sneak off to find our father and sister!" he mewed lowly and excitedly so as to have no one else to hear him. He looked around before ducking away to an abandoned Fox den.

Rippaw turned to him,"I saw Selene and another cat a little older than us, she seemed to be an Elite too, so, I eavesdropped on their conversation. Her name is Vasphi and apparently Selene's daughter, she's been keeping an eye on Panther and Rip for Shadowheart and the others. She's supposed to come back with a new report in a couple of days."

Rippaw nodded,"All we jave to do is wait for Vasphi to come back, and then follow her when she leaves. She'll take us right to the Elite and more importantly, to our true kin." he grinned evily.

Shadowheart chuckled,"It's fine. What do you want, pray tell, young Darkpaw."
"Shadowheart, I wish to receive a mentor. I'd like to start training as soon as possible." Darkpaw mewed, she glanced at Dawnpaw and gave a curt nod of acknowledgement.
Rippaw looked at Rosepaw,"I will ask nicely this once, please leave us be, we have important matters to attend to." he asked as politely as was to his capability.

Rippaw was shocked, he expected Ashpaw to be how he usually was-mean and hateful.

"I could see it in your eyes, young one." Shadowheart replied.
Darkpaw padded over to Ashtree,"I guess you're my new mentor. Can we go training now?"
Ashtree chuckled,"Not yet. How about we go out scouting the territory first?"
"Ok..." she grumbled.
"Darkpaw!" Shadowheart called,"Come over here for a second is you will."
