A family talk{Acekit/Waterskipper/Splotchkit ONLY}

    "It's Zealkit," Sinkit cried, looking down at his sisters limp, but still breathing, body "She fainted! I swear I didn't mean to..."
    He paused bursting into tears and nuzzle his sister "Wake up Zealkit!" He whispered to her.

    "I'll go." Orchidkit got up carefully from her family huddle, and raced out of the den towards the two cats before Lunecry couuld react. Lunecry picked up and ran after her anyway, careful first not to upset Bridgekit if he was leaning on her or anything.


    Orchidkit got there first. "Zealkit! What happened to her?" She nudged the kit trying to wake her up.

    "I didn't mean to!" Sobbed Sinkit "I was mad and she caught me off guard and I... Scratched her, I didn't think it was much it was only a small scratch!" He gestured to the small cut on his sisters face.
    "Is she gonna be ok?" He mewed.

    Bridgekit got to his paws, but he didn't know where to go from there. Letting out a quick growl of frusteration he turned to Acekit, the only family member left in the nursery. "Acekit, could you take me to them? I want to know what's going on," he mewed hurriedly. He didn't want to run into anything or anybody, so he decided this would be the quickest and most pain free way.

    "I..they I'm just very upset with everything, my mom caused it all and now I hate her! Will you take care of me grammy?" Splotchkit asked. She was upset adn wanted someone that would care for her and listen to her problem, be her motehr.

    "Why's your own mother telling me to ignore you?" said Waterskipper. "I don't think it's because she's evil. I think there's something you aren't telling me, sweety. Do you want to talk about it with me?"

    "Sure, but my mommy's lying, She won't help me get a friend, let me have special time with just her, or anything!" SPlotchkit exclaimed trying to get her point across to Waterskipper. She was upset and wondered what was going to happen if Grammy wouldn't care for her either.


    ooc: Who plays Mistfling? I know you play Hailstone, Lunecry, and who plays their mates?

    "Sure Bridgekit." Acekit mewed obligingly. He wanted to see what was concerning everyone so much too. He began to guide his blind cousin over to Sinkit and Zealkit.

    "She's lying? She won't do anything with you or for you? That's pretty terrible if it's true," said Waterskipper. "How about we have a talk with her and we can figure out how to fix this?"

    Bridgekit flicked his tail in a thanks. One step at a time, he followed Acekit out of the nursery and closer to his family. The tom stopped when he figured he was close enough. Bridgekit sat on the used camp ground. He could scent Orchidkit and Lunecry, Sinkit and Zealkit, but the strange scent of blood was in the air. It made his pelt prickle just thinking of someone being injured. "What's going on? Is someone hurt?" he questioned, moving his head around, wishing to StarClan that he could see.

    "Something's wrong with Zealkit -- she's not moving right."Acekit gratefully mewed to his cousin, he wasn't sure if she was moving at all... but no reason to panic himself and Bridgekit. It wasn't as if they were able to do anything. They were just kits. Teh seal point sighed. Every cat said that kithood was the best, but Acekit wasn't so sure.


    Did that mean it went downhill from here?

    Lunecry picked up Zealkit by the scruff, though Zealkit was not that small anymore. She carried her to the medicine den and laid her on one of the beds. "Now...to find Ambrosiaflare. Someone needs to keep an eye on her till we do."


    "I could, I'm not doing anything else," said Orchidkit. Not doing anything else except blubber like a baby along with the rest of her family. This was preferable by a long shot. She sat down next to Zealkit. "I'll stay with her."

    "Ok, but the moment Lune-crazy starts blaming me for 'driving the family apart', I'm out of here." Splotchkit mewed quoting something Lunecry had said. She sat up and licked her fur, before basking in the sun wanting it to dry off.

    Waterskipper frowned at her. "Is this your mother we're talking about or some stranger you're trying to bargain with? If you dislike her that much maybe you should look into finding another queen who would love you unconditionally." The kit's demeanour didn't just disgust her, it frightened the dirt out of her.

    "Its my mother, she won't do anything for me all she does is whine and moop about how much she loves me and I won't return the favor, yet I've tried!" Splotchkit exclaimed opening her eyes wide trying to exasperate the point. "I've also asked her for things and she just shuns me like nobody's business."

    The tiny fear in the back of his head greatened as he realized what was happening. "Right?" the tom questioned. "What does that mean? Is she breathing?" Not acting 'right' was such a broad word that it would be impossible to imagine the possibilities. The kit kneaded his paws into the ground anxiously. He wanted to go into the medicine cat's den and hear what Ambrosiaflare had to say; maybe he would learn something in the process.

    "How have you tried? What have you done to make an effort? Maybe it's just a lack of communication," said Waterskipper. "But it troubles me that you seem to see this whole mess as all your mother's fault. We seem to be pretty much right where we started. I think you need to see both sides of this before it can start to get better. And it's not a good sign that almost your entire family is shunning you right now, though I'm not. I'm going to work with you here and see if we can get it better."


    "Yeah, she's breathing," said Orchidkit. "But she's not waking up. I dunno why. It is just a little scratch. Maybe she doesn't like the sight of blood. Or...I mean the smell." Just how she ate though was a mystery in that case.

    Acekit fumbled, "Sorry... this time I can't see too well either Bridgekit." he mewed nervously, wrapping his tail around himself and his cousin. It felt comforting and the seal point tom kit hoped that he didn't mind.


    "Maybe... maybe it's something else."
