Ivykit padded over to Flarekit.
" Should we tell Obscuredkit?" -
Sunkit stepped forward, the thrill affecting his skin. It was cool and made him feel alert. His eyes met Icegaze's. When Ivykit spoke, he glanced towards her, his eyes telling her that their life in Hawkclan was over. If they went back, they would never be allowed out again. Sunkit's eyes turned back to Icegaze. It was time to start anew. New name, new mother, new clan, new life.

"I don't think so." Flarekit sighed. "He was a good cat."

" Okay... but if we ever see him, we'll tell him. Deal?" Ivykit whispered.

IC: Icegaze smiled warmly as she thought about the kit's she was allowing into her life.

IC: Sunkit practically held his breath in his anxiety and excitement of recieving a new name. -
Flarekit nodded.

"Sunkit, you most readily accepted my offer. You have a good grip on things. Evens when your life is turned upside down, you will still be holding on. Many others will need your perspective, and you will help them stay right-side up when their worlds are also turned upside down." Icegaze scooped a pawful of snow and ground it into Sunkit's fur. "With a new perspective comes a new name. From now on, you shall be known as Spiderkit."

IC: Spiderkit! The little white and black tom purred at his new name. That was more like it! He dipped his head to his newfound mother, Icegaze, before stepping aside for Ivykit. -
"Ivykit, please step forward," Icegaze purred. One more kit to go...

"Welcome, Spiderkit." Flarekit purred, rubbing against her brother.

Spiderkit snuggled against his sister, Flarekit. He loved their new names, their new mother, and he was sure to love their new life. He couldn't wait to see what the clan looked like.

"Ivykit, you saw your siblings were going to a new place for a new life. Without knowing anything about me, you decided to come along. You must have great faith in your siblings for the future. You will be the glue that keeps all of you together." Icegaze lifted a pawful of snow and ground it into the kit's fur. "With a new trust comes a new name. From now on, you shall be known as Mintkit, for your refreshing trust in others.

Sunkit bounded over to Mintkit, nuzzling her. "Shall we go now?" he asked Icegaze.
