Nightwind laid her tail on her mate's shoulder. "No, let him go. It's alright. He's just shaken about the Dark Forest," she murmured.

He had know idea why his behavior was so rude and well.. Just plain weird! He grumbled some foul words under his breath like "Fox dung, Mousebrain, Fleabag" and more.

Nightwind watched him go and sighed. She looked at Hawkblaze, "Keep an eye on him, please."

When he came home, he plopped down on a small bed and began to sleep.

Blackkit thought about everything that had just gone on. He was scared about the dark forest, yet interested to see what it looked like.

Nightwind padded into the den. "Blackkit?"

"Yes Mama?" he asked.

"Be careful," he eyes glinting with a knowing look.

Hawkblaze sighed, who knew being a father was this hard, he padded back to the warrior's den.

He didn't answer. He just turned around and went to sleep.

Nightwind curled up in her nest.
