Ace & Fernflare (Private!)

    Fernflare blinked. "Ah." She murmured. Something stirred within her. Relief? The she-cat shook her head. What did it matter is Lily was Ace's mate or not? It was nothing of her concern. Fernflare sighed.

    Fernflare was out on a hunting patrol with two of her Clanmates. She parted her jaws, trying to pick up the scent of prey. Instead, her nose picked out Ace's scent. Fox-dung! She thought, looking at the other two cats. If she could scent the loner tom, soon the others would. She had to think fast so as to avoid Ace being discovered. "Why don't you two check over there? I thought I smelt somehting. I'll go that way." Fernflare flicked her tail to indicate the directions she meant. Once her Clanmates had gone, she bounded toward Ace's scent.

    Ace yawned,his eyes brightened as he saw Fernflare. "Hello, just passing through." He mewed,standing up, ready to leave.

    "You're fine, but I was hunting with my Clanmates. I didn't want them to catch you." She meowed. She looked around. Her ears flicked, and she prowled toward a mouse. She soon killed it. She turned back to Ace. "Here, take this to Lily." She offered, nudging the mouse toward the tom.

    "Thanks." Ace mewed,dipping his head, he bounded off back to Lily. She's awfully nice... Ace thought, he shrugged and shook off the thought. He dropped the mouse at Lily's paws. "Here ya' go!" He purred,nuzzling his sister.

    Ace sighed and wandered away again,this time not on Thunderclan terriotory. He chased a small abandoned fox pup for a bit. He grabbed the pup's scruff and walked away. "Come on, Lily will nurse you." He whispered.

    Fernflare took the a rabbit to the nursery for the queens. As she saw the squirming kits within, her aqua eyes grew warmed. She'd always adored kits. She left the nursery, and went into the warriors' den, curling in her nest.

    Ace sighed, Lily said no to nursing the small fox pup. "Now what?" He wondered out loud, knowing the kit would die if it stayed by itself.
