Fernflare flicked her ears, her muscles still tensed a bit. "Who are you?" She asked curiously.

"Ace." He mewed politely, his eyes stared at Fernfalre's. "Who are you?" He asked.

"My name is Fernflare." She meowed after a brief pause. "I am a warrior of ThunderClan. And you are on my territory." She added.

"Okay I'll leave." Ace mewed simply, standing up, ready to bound off.

"Er, you don't have to leave right away." Fernflare mewed, maybe a bit too quickly. She pinned her ears back, embarrassed.

Ace chuckled and sat down. "Okay." He mewed awkwardly.

Fernflare blinked her aqua eyes. "So, are you a kittypet, or just a loner?" She asked.

Ace shrugged. "Guess." He mewed, batting the she-cat's ear.

Fernflare paused. "Well, if you had a kittypet scent, it's too stale for me to smell." She muttered.

"Exactly." Ace mewed.

"So...You used to be a kittypet?" Fernflare mewed, tilting her head to the side.

"Know who's a smart cat?" Ace teased playfully.

Fernflare smirked. Her gaze flickered to Hazel. "Her eyes sure seemed to enchant you." She ventured to point out.

Ace didn't answer, pretending not to hear. "Hey,so what's a 'clan' like?" He asked,steering off topic.

Hazel rolled her eyes and turned away.

Fernflare blinked. "Well, it's hard at time, like during leaf-bare, when you have to help provide for so many cats." The she-cat explained. "But the rewards far outweigh the burdens." Her aqua eyes brightened slightly. "Like when you see newborn kits, and know that they will grow into the warriors that carry on the Clan."

"Cool." Ace purred,standing up. "Well, I should head off now. Lily's probably worried, he quickly killed a rabbit and bounded off.

Lily? The she-cat wondered curiously. Who was Lily? It hadn't occured to the tabby that Ace would have a mate. She shrugged.

"By the way... Lily's my sister!" Ace hollered,bounding off.
