    Connor laughed lightly, seeing Caterina's reaction. A throb of pain from his hand reminded him about his broken knuckle bones and he quickly washed his hand under the kitchen tap.

    Caterina looked at him, then his hand. ''I km now how to put the bones back in place. Unless, of course its shattered.''

    Connor glanced up from his hand. "Really?" He thrust his hand out to her. "Here."

    ''It will hurt.'' She warned him. She grabbed his knuckles, flicked his wrist, and felt the bones move back in place. She quickly let go of his hand and stepped back. ''Did it hurt?'' She asked, knowing the answer already.

    Connor nodded, temporarily speechless. Trying his best not to yell, he flexed his fingers, glad that he was able to use his hand normally again.

    ''What have we learned from this experience now Conner?'' She asked in a joking manner.

    "To never punch trees again." he replied quietly. The pain was still mind-numbing. It was a miracle he wasn't screaming his head off.

    ''Good your learning.'' Caterina teased Jim. She wasn't scared of the booming thunder crashing outside when she was near Conner.

    Connor walked to the bed and sat down gently. The pain in his hand had subsided but it still hurt.

    ''What do you want to do?'' Caterina asked.

    Connor looked at the bed, then looked at Caterina. He looked back at the bed, then Caterina. He repeated the same actions three times.

    Caterina rolled her eyes. She went over and sat down.

    Connor kicked off his shoes and lay down on the bed, feeling warm and comfortable. Caterina was safe. Jake and the others had left. Everything was going to turn out okay.

    There was a knock at the door.


    OOC: dun dun dun!

    Connor pushed himself upright and headed for the door. This was a first. No one ever visited his cabin.

    Caterina stayed in the room, away from the visitor's vision.

    Connor cautiously opened the door. He hadn't installed a light outside so it was quite dark. "Hello?" he said hesitantly.

    ''Hello.'' It was a boy around the same age as Conner. He held a flyer in his hand ''Have you seen a girl wandering around?'' He then added ''My name is Kyle and I'm looking for my younger sister Caterina.''


    Caterina heard his name and was frozen in utter fear.

    Connor was shocked but he recovered quickly. "I'm afraid I haven't." he replied smoothly. "Don't worry. If I do see here, I'll give you a call." He took the flyer from Kyle's hand.

    ''If you do see her. Don't call.'' He whispered ''I don't want her to get hurt by the government. I'm glad she ran away from them. But I'm worried for her safety, she's terrified of thunderstorms and its stormed for two days straight.''


    Caterina poked her head out ''I love you too Kyle.''


    Kyle smiled at Conner ''Thank you.''
