    Flamepaw was fascinated by the forests of EbonyClan. The rustle of leaves, the birdsong, the scamper of a mouse... it was so wild.

    "Magnificent isn't it." Darktalon said. He thought a while. "It will be getting dark soon. We will work on fighting tomorrow." He said to Flamepaw.

    Flamepaw looked up at the sky. "Can't I at least learn the Hunter's Crouch?"
    Flamepaw's eyes widened after he said it.
    Why do I know that? I don't remember anything!
    He suddenly froze.
    Was I once a...no...I couldn't...!

    Darktalon turned to him. "How do you there is such thing as a hunter crouch?"

    Flamepaw's ears flattened. "Uh--Hunter's Crouch? Ha-ha-ha, what's that? I said, that hunters don't slouch, right? Right? Get it?"

    "Hmmmmmm... Well then."Darktalon stopped. "We are done with the territory. Now let's work on your speed." He said and looked around. "Run to that tree and back.Try to dodge the obstacles in your path." Darktalon said. The tree was about 50 or 60 yards away.

    "Flamepaw you must lighten up. Being a warrior isn't all about seriousness. You must have joy and be friendly. Ok well, Ready.......Set.........Go!" Darktalon said.

    Flamepaw launched out and raced over to the tree. After several heart-beats, he finally made it to the tree.
    "I did it! I did it!" He yowled in triumph. "I did it! Ha-ha-ha! I did it!"

    pinetooth looked at his mate " we never named them. the kits we never named them!"


    blacksouls eyes were dull. she gazed at her kits and coughed. she had been feeling sick for awhile. she was very skinny

    Heatherstar felt her pelt go hot. "Haha...I guess we didn't." She looked at the 3 kits. "How about the silver she-cat is Featherkit?"

    "that sounds good........... and the brown tabby tom could be barkkit like treebark. you should name the last one." pinetooth purred

    Darktalon thought about Blacksoul. She's be very sick. I should go back."Flamepaw we will continue training tomorrow." He said and walked back to camp with Flamepaw.


    When they got back Darktalon got a bird and brought it to the nursery. "Are you alright? You want something to eat or drink?" He said and pushed a bird towards her.

    "thank you" she said horsely and bit into the bird hungrily. she looked at him as if to say want to share?

    "I'm fine, do you need any medicine? I can get Sparrowpaw. Do you want new moss?" Darktalon kept on asking. He didn't want anything to happened to his mate or kits.

    "im fine" blacksoul answered then ate the rest of her bird licked darktalons cheak and witha cough curled around her kits and soon fell asleep
