Dakota nodded silently in agreement.

Kasson lowered his head in the ground and followed Northern Light's scent until he was right above her.
Kira frowned, no longer hearing Kasson.

Northern Lights was lost in darkness. She barely breathed.

Kasson yelped then bent down to grab her and drag her back to the clearing.

Northern Lights felt herself being dragged.

Kasson pulled her into the clearing and set her down on a pile of coats that the mushers had left there.

Northern Lights struggled to breathe and was ready to give in.

Kasson looked around quickly, scanning the dogs to see if anyone could help her. "Rocky!" He barked loudly. "Get over here, now!"

Rocky jumped, he had been half asleep. He stood up with a grunt at his sore legs, then dashed over to Kasson. "Yes Kasson?" He barked, then slowed to a trot when he came closer.

"Can you help her, I don't know what's wrong but it doesn't look good at all." Kasson aside to let Northern Lights into his view, his eyes worried.

Rocky stepped up and was surprised at how severe the dogs injuries were. Though his expression remained completely calm, giving way no emotions. He looked at Kasson. "There's nothing we can do. We need a human to help her." He abrked sternly, referring to their musher.

"You're right." Kasson nodded before he raced over to the musher's door. He whined loudly and hit the door with his nose, just as he did when he tried to get the musher to feed him.

Janice licked Kaliks head."Hey Kalik what are we going to do today?"She asked.

Kalik shook his head, not sure. "What do you want to do?"

"Go swimming."She told.

"Swimming?" Kalik echoed, unsure.

"Yeah,it's getting closer to July.It;'s getting more warmer."She told smiling.

Kalik blinked at her slowly, his eyes wide. "Uh, you swim, I'll watch."

Janice giggled."If you must see."She whispered as she ran to the river and jumped in."It's warm in the water, come on!"She yelled as she went under water.
