Stone could see the dog bounding torward his family and reared up and slammed down on, the dog, breaking its back and killing it. The other dogs were far behind, but that didn't stop Stone from leading his herd into the trees.

Syn blinked her eyes, knowing she was probably going to be caught. She hadn't told her friends her secret yet. She was just hoping for the right time. -
Dapple rushed over and gently helped both horses into the water. The water covered the blood scent, and the other dog's blood scent was high in the air.

Splotches watched the dogs run towards them. She reared back and snorted angrily.

Dapple neighed,"Get in the water, or do you want to be killed!? Dapple showed her teeth and hooves at the dogs and they ran away, whimpering with fear.

Splotches nodded. She trotted into the water slowly.

"If they head torwards my family, they are looking for trouble. My dad could kill them easily", she told Splotches,"We just need to get to my herd."

"Those dogs are to fox-brained to resist. They will certainly die."Splotches responded

"Well... they are going to die because I can see them as little specks, heading torwards my dad, and-"A blood smell hit the air.."My dad just killed them..." She neighed grinning with delight,"We better get you two mares up to my dad, he can have Midnight take care of your friend, she knows herbs."

Syn sighed. She wished she didn't have the cuts from the coyote on her so she could've helped kill the dogs, but instead, she was worthless. -
Splotches went over to Syn and helped her up.

Dapples came over and got on Syn's other side and helped them to her herd. Midnight rushed over instantly and instructed them to lay Syn down. Midnight rubbed comfrey on her sore spots and put gently dripped marigold juice into the scratches and then put horsetail over the scratches from bleeding more, along with the cobwebs. Then she rubbed some dock leaves to help Syn's hooves cool off and sooth her.

Splotches was shocked at how many herbs were used.

Midnight let out a satisfied snort and neighed,"She just needs to rest now.."
Dapple nodded and glanced at Stone. Stone flicked his tail and reached down and began licking above his hoove, where there was a dog bite. -
Splotches looked around. The cat was padding towards the forest.

Diablo stared in confusion at the other horses, then finally snorted to himself and lowered his head to drink from the lake water. All of that hype was for nothing, and he was starting to think he was the only sane one out of the bunch.

Syn laid down gingerly. She bit her lip in pain. -
Splotches watched Syn. Her wounds looked terrible.

Dapple flicked her tail and stepped out of the trees, back into the meadow and leaned her head down and began to eat grass, taking a pace or two to get at more grass.
