She leaned on the wall of the main house, gazing out at the kennels. Her mother was still inside, but she didn't doubt the woman had been up since dawn. She though about getting her own dog again, but she didn't know how her mother would like it, unless it was one of the center dogs. She smiled, just thinking about all the bulls. Her bright green eyes were dancing in the strong sunlight, red hair shinning. She would wait for the others to head down to the kennels. The soft breeze ruffled her red plaid top, and her black shoes were looking more brown than anything else. The sky was a cloudless, bright blue and the sun gleaming high in the sky. The leaves were swaying slightly in the wind, and the air was a warm yet livable temperature.

Samantha smiled evily. "If your going yo be like that." She took his favorite blanket. "Why do you have favorite blanket still, Jay?" Jason made a face at her,"Cuz' it's my warmest blanket!" "I'm sure the dog will love it!" She quckily stepped away so Jason couldn't touch her the ran away.

She pressed to the very back of her kennel. She was curled into a tight ball, her soft brindle coat clean and short. She huddled with her back to the rest of the kennel, nose pressed into the corner. She had shredded her main blanket last night, and she refused to sleep in her dog house as it was tainted with the smell of humans. She shivered, the breeze slicing through her thin coat and clawing at her with icy waves. She curled tighter, deep brown eyes closed tight as she let out a very faint whimper. -
Silverspoons pawed at the lock the door swung open and she burst out of there she ran around for awhile until she stopped at the gate she saw the freeway and memories flowed through her mind

She finally pushed herself away from the wall. She strolled down to Kennel Three and opened Sunnys' kennel. "Hey boy." She said softly, giving him food and fresh water. She pet him, smiling. Mariah pulled a small bone from her pocket and held it out to him. "Don't tell anyone." She teased the puppy. She loved Sunny. -
Willow could smell the human scent close. Not in kennel two, but somewhere near. She barked louder. I'm hungry! She thought.

He pulled up the hill, black shirt catching the wind. He pushed toward kennel two, bone in hand. He held a bucket of water in the other, he only had one dog in this kennel today and he wasn't sure why he didn't just have all of kennel two. He caught sight of Mariah and it sparked his interest, she wasn't supposed to care for the dogs before they did. He drew closer to Willows' kennel and set his things down. He kneeled down and opened her kennel, filling the water up quickly. He handed her the bone, smiling softly. He moved back and picked up the bag of food from the shed. He returned quickly and filled up her food bowl. He had to be carefully doing this, so far only Kennel One was fenced in to keep dogs who got out when their backs were turned in the area. -
Willow yipped happily and dinned down on the chow. She eat so fast her belly started to hurt, she didn't really care. She licked the bowl clean then pick it up and dropped it at his feet.
