  • Orchidkit sighed. "Acekit, you're never fine. You're always so sad and angry...why?" Things were finally starting to turn aruond for their family and Acekit had to go ruining it.

  • "I'm not sad and anger. I was just upset because Koipaw was acting like we didn't count as family." Acekit mewed to his cousin, not understanding what her problem was.

  • "I said I was." Acekit mewed, getting a little frustrated with Orchidkit. However she had already left so he curled against his mother. "What's wrong with ... me or her?"

  • "So? I'm a little clumsy some times.A few cuts and bruises never hurt anyone."mewed Koipaw as she poked fun at herself. But at hearing Acekit she gave a frustrated sigh."That misunderstanding again?"groaned the calico apprentice. And I thought I had problems.... thought Koipaw bitterly.

  • "I think that you're both being a little too touchy," said Lunecry to Acekit. "And you did overreact a little when I asked you if you were okay. It was just a question."

  • ooc: Gosh, you make me just want to kill Splotchkit off because you don't wait for a person. Do you know how many posts it has been since the last time I posted? 15!

ic: Splotchkit didn't care and had looked around, sort of jealous at how much attention every one else got. She decided to play with Acekit who seemed to be the nicest. "Yeah, ya'll all are touchy, or over-react, or are self obsorbed freaks.' Splotchkit mewed jokingly with a mweor of laughter.

ooc: I just realized ya'll all is truely you all all, though a sentence in Starlight goes something like We'll be alright, won't we? Which works out to be We will be alright, will not we?

  • ooc: Sorry. I'll try and be more mindful and wait for you better from now on. It's hard to tell sometimes. *hugs* don't kill her! She's too awesome.

ic: "Freaks? That's not so nice Splotchy." Lunecry frowned. Was she doing something wrong with her kits for all of them to be turning out so mean-spirited and miserable?

  • ooc: We should also wait for Becky.

ic: Splotchkit giggled at being scolded. "I was joking not truely being rude, that isn't a nice thing to do." Splotchkit smiled. She sat down adn pressed into Lunecry's fur. It was starting to be sunhigh and she wanted to do something.

  • Sinkit allowed his sister to cry into his fur.
He heard Shyspirit call out to Zealkit and thought Pfft! You think that's gonna cheer her up? All she needs is a talk with her brother.
He gently nudged her off his shoulder and looked her in the eyes.
"Come on," he mewed "let's go outside and have a chat."

He and Zealkit padded outside and he collected a mouse from the fresh-kill pile, whilst glaring at the group of cats like the un-social kit he was, before finding a spot away from the commotion of the group of cats at sitting down with his sister to talk.

  • "Still," said Lunecry. "Okay guys. How about we start off fresh and go out to the moors? Or the hills? It's a cool afternoon, you don't get those too often." Though soon the weather would start to get cooler. But right now was shaping up to be a beautiful and not uncomfortably hot day.

Orchidkit heard this, and padded back outside again. "Sure, I'll come." She glanced at the others, at Koipaw.

  • ((OOC: I'm back! And thanks, Groovy, Jessica, I had a great time. Now it's time to rp.))

Bridgekit licked his cousin's ruffled fur. The tom was being overreactive, but everyone handled situations differently. He didn't know why Koipaw was so upset, but he didn't really want to know. It wasn't his place to talk about things; he just wanted to cheer the apprentice and make her happy. "I want to go on the moors!" he purred, thinking of the great time he had last time. Maybe, if they got lucky, Bryonykit would be out. He doubted it, but it was possible. Bridgekit turned sightless yellow eyes on Acekit and meowed in a lower tone, "Maybe we can stay behind the group and talk. I have something I want to mention,"

The grey and white tom swiveled his ears towards Zealkit. He wanted to speak to her and understand this whole blind concept. He was about to invite her to come with, but he decided it would be a big strain on Lunecry. She already had four kits to look after on the moors, not to mention a blind kit. Plus Koipaw would be out there, it would be a crowd. To add another blind kit to the group could push Lunecry's stress level to the max, even though the queen rarely got angry. Bridgekit made a mental note to speak to the she-kit when he got back.

  • "Aunty, if it is ok with you I want to take my sister, Orchidkit with me.It has been awhile sense it was just me and her."meowed Koipaw before resting her eyes on her little sister. For a moment Koipaw stayed silent as she was lost in thought.A smile spread on her face as a mischievous twinkle shined in her amber eyes."I want to take Orchidkit to my favorite spot."purred the young calico.

  • "Sure, if you two want to do that, that's fine," said Lunecry, who prepared for Acekit to have another sulking episode. But Orchidkit had always been the closest to Koipaw out of all of Hailstone's and her own kits, time and even separation had not changed that apparently.

Orchidkit smiled and stepped over to Koipaw. Already her big sister seemed like the old Koipaw again. "Great! Let's go."

  • "Cool, just let me go eat."mewed Koipaw with a purr.Quickly the calico apprentice raced over to the fresh-kill pile, grabbing a fat rabbit. The pretty calico she-cat then wasted no time digging into the rabbit. She planned to take Orchidkit to that very same boulder, maybe show her sister some moves or something or just laze about.Orchidkit hadn't seen the slash marks on the stone for they had gotten a bit deep from constant battle practice after hunting. But Koipaw figured she would decide on the way.

  • Orchidkit suddenly felt hungry again watching her older sister eat, so she joined her on the opposite side of the kill and decided to help her polish it off. Rabbits were big, even the two of them probably couldn't finish it. But it sure was good.

  • Sinkit looked at the group of cats preparing to leave and then turned his head to look at Zealkit, "So what brought this on?" He mewed.

"Them," Zealkit replied, gesturing to the exact spot the group were sitting "Their just such a happy family and we don't really have that, do we?"

"No, not really...." he meowed "how did you know where they were so perfectly?"

    "Just cause I'm blind doesn't mean I can't see!"

Sinkit then didn't know what to say, he was confused.

  • "I'm sorry Orchidkit." Acekit mewed at his cousin's reappearance. Inside he felt left out as Koipaw voted to take Orchidkit out. She was Koipaw's favorite. Acekit never seemed to be any cat special.

His ears flickered as his blind cousin spoke to him. "Sure we can talk." The seal point mewed.

  • Orchidkit glanced around at her cousin and put on a smile. "It's okay." She wasn't mad at him anymore, only coming to accept that things were just rocky between them, and for now there seemed to be no way she could make it better. So she'd focus on those who were closer to her.

  • "Momma, why does Koipaw always choose Orchidkit overe me?" Splotchkit asked. "I want to go exploring with Koipaw together, but she always takes dumb Orchidkit.' She was mad that Orchidkit seemed to be Koipaw's favorite, but Splotchkit wated to do stuff with Koipaw, too.
