Hawkpaw smiled, his fur bristling, "If your up to it. I'm always ready." He looked up at her with determination gleaming in his eyes.
Frostwing slipped out of camp and down to the river, stopping abruptly where the snow met ice. She lowered herself to sniff the ice before laying down in the cool snow with a sigh. She wasn't sure if it was boredom or loneliness. Either way, she didn't like how it felt. She missed being a younger cat; life was easy then.

Butterflypaw opened her eyes, and yawned. 'Wow,' she thought. 'Today is really sunny.' She padded out of the den, and streched.

Hawkpaw's ears perked at the sound of Lightpaw's voice. He wanted to go see her, but he stood firm and awaited his mentor's reply.

"Hey!" Butterflypaw meowed. "Do you wanna go hunt?" She asked Lightpaw.

Butterflypaw seemed hyper Lightpaw noticed. "So what are you doing today?" Lightpaw meowed passing a glance over at Hawkpaw talking to his mentor. Lightpaw wondered where her mentor was.
