Streamrunner licked her lips and started mumbling. The visions raked across her face and sent her into another wail of mental agony. She screeched for a few heartbeats, then swallowed. She started to ramble about them on and on... and another vision came up. Bad memories haunted her and she was lost in unknown territory. Are they here? Where are they? Her grey eyes were wider than ever as she scanned the clearing. There! A dead, dried up leaf twisted in the wind. She let out another hissing wail, as that was the only thing she could do. She was too weak to walk, and even if she could walk, where would she go?

Freeheart was wandering. Everybody knew, if they couldn't find her, she was out across they borders. She came up on a clearing. She hid in the large grass on the outside. Then she heard her. That cat....She looked insane. Freeheart's tail flicked back and forth. Wait....wait...and pounce! Then she leaped up from the grass and aimed to land right on top of Streamrunner.
-
Streamrunner let out a yowl as the cat landed upon her. More memories studded across her vision as she stayed curled up against the ground, not feeling the pain of claws. Her muscles were tensed but she didn't attack. "Let go of me." The first clear words she had said for a quarter moon trickled out of her mouth. She heard a voice, but she wasn't sure if it was hers. The ground below her looked delicious, so she took a lick and rolled around the salty particles in her mouth. Several sores began to protest but she couldn't feel the pain that her 'meal' delivered. She was waiting for her attacker to let go.
-
Freeheart looked at the cat. It was.. "Mad." She whispered to herself. How can a cat be soo.... Freeheart was at a loss of words. "W-Who are you?" She asked crouched at the outer part of the clearing. This cat could easily change at any moment and attack her.
-
Streamrunner's coarse, unused voice spoke once again. "Why should I tell you?" Her eyes darted across the clearing, widening at every move. Even though Streamrunner was very young, she gave away the atmosphere at being an old crazy elder. Such young cats shouldn't have seen what she has seen.
-
"B-Because your on Sunclan territory." Freeheart silently added, I think. She didn't like this cat here. A closer look provided that she was younger in age. 14, 15 moons? But the way she was acting made Freeheart shiver. To make herself feel better she added "I'm a warrior of Sunclan."
-
"Warrior." Streamrunner whispered the words. "You are one of them!" Her whisper grew in intensity as she hissed. "They killed me..."
OOC: she isn't a ghost or anything, just insane. :3
-
OOC: Got that from the title. 'Insane she-cat' ^.^
Ic: "What?!" Freeheart was scared now. "Killed you how?" She walked up to her and gave her a gentle nudge.
-
"Killed everyone. Everything." Her eyes searched the clearing for invisible enemies.
OOC: I have to go now... byee!
-
"B-But your still alive." Freeheart said, tilting her head side to side, puzzled.
-
"Nothing..." Streamrunner's eyes blinked wildly. "I had nothing else. Isn't that like being killed? Nothing." Horrible memories once again raked her eyes with their sharp claws. She wished that this would all be over, the visions of the past would keep her from getting to the future. "Clan cats. That's what they were... destroyed..." Streamrunner shook her head to keep herself from wailing.
-
"Shhh! My clan will hear you!" Freeheart said wrapping her tail around her mouth. "I will take care of you. Stay here, I'll get you some fresh kill." She said starting to walk away.
-
As she watched Freeheart walk away, Streamrunner sat down and curled her tail around her feet. Stupid, pathetic Clan cats... always so sympathetic. She started to groom her fur, which she matted on purpose in order to get one of the cat's attention. It had successfully worked. Now she would be able to spend the night in a warm den with a full belly!
-
OOC: Naughty, naughty, Streamrunner!
Ic: Freeheart went and found a rabbit. Quickly she went and killed it. Then she padded back to feed it to Streamrunner. She set it down and realized she didn't now her name. "I'm Freeheart. You are?" She asked.
-
OOC: Never saw that coming, did ya? XD
Streamrunner resumed her insane performance. "I am.. am I Streamrunner..." she mumbled and her eyes danced wildly. Her tail twitched slowly... back and forth, like an angry adder waiting to strike it's prey. She moved her head down and took a bite of the rabbit and cringed. She was used to eating fish... But her hunger got the best of her as she finished the whole rabbit. The meal didn't taste good but the bitter growling in her stomach stopped. But then, she retched; her stomach was so small after eating so little. She vomited up a bit of rabbit, and now she felt truly terrible.
-
Freeheart tipped her head to the side. She looked like it has hurting her to eat the rabbit. "H-He.." She trained off as she saw the cat retch and vomit. Freeheart curled her tail around her legs to keep from laughing. That poor cat looked like she had tried to please Freeheart by eating the rabbit. "Are you okay? It looks to me your sick!"
-
Streamrunner's stomach was full. She blinked a few times and laid down on the ground, looking around madly. "Not funny..." she murmured. After eating, she decided, her 'performance' would start to die down. Acting like an insane cat took lots of energy, she discovered. "Fish tastes better than that piece of fox dung..." She breathed in a raspy breath. "but I guess I shouldn't have a say in the matter." She licked her lips, trying to get the taste of rabbit off.
-
Freeheart nodded. "Well, then your in the wrong clan!" She told the cat. "You have a clan name, what clan are you from? Did they kick you out? Was it because you were crazy? Or maybe you ate too much? Was it because you lied to them? Or maybe your mom was in a clan and gave you a clan name before sending you with your loner father?" Her stream of questions came out. A lot of cats called her 'Kitheart' because she asked questions like kits and she wandered across borders.
-
Streamrunner shuddered. "I was born with this name." She tried to remember her mother... but she really grew up with her father. "I grew up with my father. I was never in a Clan. But this is what you speak of, a Clan name?"
-
"Well, most loners are named 'Rabbit' or "Sasha' but clan names are different. They have two names combined. Like Free and Heart. Freeheart. You could be Stream or Runner but your Streamrunner. I know an Ottergaze and Sootfeather. Maybe your mother was a clan cat, gave you that name and left you!!!" Freeheart said excitedly. "I've got to ask around."
