Rose laid back down, sighing.

Jake grinned. "You betcha!" he said, then frowned. "Can I come in now since we know each other and shared each other's deepest secret?" he asked, grinning sheepishly.

Rose's gaze flicked around the room. She began to move her leg then winced from the pain.

"Fine." Thomas said then walked back over to Rose. "What happened to your leg?" He asked her as he sat down.

She gazed at him for a moment. "A bear attacked me and my parents while we were camping." She said, images of her parent's mutilated (For people who don't know that word, ripped to shreads) bodys.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Thomas said.

She smiled lightly. "Don't be. It's all in the past. I tried to tell dad not to bring the pringles into the tent." She laughed gently, her voice like velvet. "My name is Rose." She said gently.

"I'm Thomas but you can call me Tom." He said.

"Thanks for saving me, Tom." She said, her eyes glowing.

"No problem." Thomas said with a smile.

She tried to sit up, clenching her jaws.

Thomas helped her sit up.

She looked at her leg and turned green. Her eyes grew wide and she started shaking.

"You okay?" Thomas asked her.

She was frozen by the sight of her blood. Her face grew more and more pale by the second.

"Rose, are you okay?" Thomas asked her again.

"Bllod."Are she whimpered before passing out.

Thomas sighed. He picked her up and moved her to the back bedroom. He laid her down on the bed then shut the door. He walked back into the living room.

Jake came inside, settled down and watched as the two talked. When Rose passed out, he jumped to help but Thomas got there first. He sat down again.
