Sparrow and Emeryheart sat right outside the Nursery so they could hear if the kits needed them

Lovepaw, Hopepaw, and Faithpaw sat beneath Highrock.
Spiritstar waited a little longer for the rest to gather. -
Deadeye looked up at Spiritstar
EMeryheart slipped back into the nursery to check on the kits then she came back out

"as you know Emeryheart has had her litter..." she began.

Emeryheart looked at the ground
Deadeye looked back at his sister

"Which in return has brought us three healthy kits." she said smiling at the newborns, "Although we have a new litter...we do not have a medicine cat at the moment...Deadeye, will you step foward?"

Deadeye looked up shocked he stepped forward as he was told

"You will take on the responsibilities that a Spiritclan medicine cat holds. Do you accept?" she asked.

his eyes widened "Yes i do" he said

"Deadeye! Deadeye!" Chanted Lovepaw.

Sparrow and Emeryheart joined in the chant
Deadeye looked at Lovepaw did she tell her mother about what i said yesterday he wondered

Hopepaw and Faithpaw pitched in as well.
Lovepaw smiled at Deadeye. -
Deadeye smiled back at her

"Deadeye Deadeye!" Chanted Shadowpaw proud of her mentor

"Spiritstar i have a question. who will mentor my apprentice?" Deadeye asked over the chanting
