She tried batting the air again, but the stars didn''t come back. Didn't they notice it. Stubling onto her paws, she eyed her mother hopefully. "The big stars," Vividkit replied, prodding a stray bit of moss, "Really, really bigstars, and one of them were red. They looked kinda scary to me." The small kit almost wished theywould come back, just so her mother and littermates could see them.

can i be a kit u didnt know about yet?
-
((Uh... What?))
"Sorry, Vividkit, mommy didn't see them," Fawnstipes mewed softly, and licked the top of Vividkit's head. She wished, so badly, that she could make sense of what her kit saw, and see the stuff she did. It would make it easier to try and understand the stuff. "Maybe next time? After all, I wasn't paying attention to anything but you three."
-
i said can i join and be a kit? .-.
-
((Uh, you can be someone else's kit if you so wish.. I can't see why not.))
-
"Okay," the kit replied contently, still waiting for the big stars to come back. When it was apparent they wouldn't, she tripped onto her little paws, eagerly facing her mother. "Are we almost apprentice?" She just couldn't wait for the day.
-
"Yes, yes you are," Fawnstripes said with a smile. Her kits were aging - nearing the six moon mark already. There couldn't be very much time left at all until they were apprentices. "Any day now you three will be promoted and get your mentor, and then you'll be off training and proving how brilliant you all are."
-
[size=8]Flipkit couldn't help but pop into the conversation. "Great!" She loudly meowed, then turned to her siblings. "I'm going to be the best of all apprentices!" she remarked snobbishly.
-
The tiny kit made a face. Wriggling some more, she jovially announced, "Nuh uh, I will! I think we're old enough, aren't we?" She glanced at her mother again, not waiting. She nudged the moss in her nest again, already bored. "Who wants to play a game?"
-
[size=8]Flipkit didn't even bother replying back at Vividkit. If she knew her power at that moment, she instantly would have shot at her sister with-- what she believed was-- a flaw.
"I'll play!" Flipkit squeaked, eyes widening.
-
Concenstrating to hard to notice the quick colorful quivering of Flipkit's pelt- the colors that only she could see- she thought up the game.
"Lets play the Third World cats!" She suspressed a shiver. Although she couldn't see them herself quite yet, she knew others could see the frightening spirits.
-
(So... time to apprentice-fy them?)
Fawnstripes nodded. "You three are almost ready to be apprentices. Any day now,"she purred as Vividkit began to go on about wanting to play a game. Then she glanced at the sleeping Hurricanekit.
-
Flipkit pulled herself out of the game, shaking her head.
"Yeah, apprentices!" she echoed.

((Sorry for dying, life keeps getting in the way. I'm sorry to hear that you've lost interest, and I hope she goes to a good home. I'm apprentic-fying Hurricanekit, and sort of ending this thread. So next time they get to see each other they'll be apprentices.
Can't wait for the plot to advance.))
