  • Runningstorm was waiting, allowing himself to become one with the atmosphere. He was pleased, or more so surprised by how well Cherrysplash was at hunting. A gentle smile grew on his lips as he watched the she-cat catch the sparrow. As for Blossomskies and Leafstrike's catch, he was still impressed. But what surprised him the most was how well this band of cats were good at hunting.
"Try burying the rabbit over there." Runningstorm advised, nodding his head in the direction of a soft patch of mud.
But something fluttered out of the corner of his eye, the tom turned his head sharply to face a blackbird. With his tail lowered, along with the rest of the body, the creamy tom slunk towards the brush which the bird was hopping beside.

  • Cherrysplash darted over a a big, fat thrush that was pecking among the snowy ground for bugs and worms. She smiled. That would be a nice catch for the fresh-kill pile. Slowly, steathly, she approached the thrush and leaped, landing square on it, and giving it one death blow. She came back with her proud catch.

  • Runningstorm's ears twitched backwards, however he refused to acknowledge the noise from behind. He slowly slunk closer to his prey, his ice blue eyes fixated upon the blackbird. But what caused the tom to dart forward in a hurried rush was when he spotted the bird taking an interest in the noise behind him. Without even thinking or judging, Runningstorm bolted forward with his paws outstretched.

  • Blssomskies nodded and smiled at Runnignstorm. SHe left to go bury the rabbit, and watched how well he stalked the creature.

  • His jaws slipped easily around the blackbird, which he now grasped roughly between his fangs. With a gleeful smile, he dropped the bird in a pre-made hole he made earlier.

  • The tom dipped his head thankfully, his gaze now set upon Blossomskies.
    "Thank you," He purred.

  • Runningstorm purred a little more, a gleam of pride shone deep within his icy blue eyes.
"I wasn't the one who caught the rabbit," He reminded the she-cat. "Once I have caught I rabbit then I can say I'm just as good a hunter as you." The tom complimented, a sweet and almost alluring smile gracing his lips.

  • Runningstorm blushed a little, after all he was aware he was a brilliant hunter. He nodded a little before he gazed towards Cherrysplash and Leafstrike, his jaws parted as he spoke.
"Should we split up so that we can gather more prey before it becomes too dark?"

  • Blossomskies, even though she wasn't being spoken to, nodded her head. "We'll cover more ground and find which areas have the most prey.. If we do."

  • [size=8]Runningstorm nodded his head in agreement, now turning his head back upon Blossomskies.
"Of course if Cherrysplash and Leafstrike which to stay grouped together that's fine, but if you two are happy who'd you wish to partner up with?" The tom queried, mainly questioning Blossomskies who had answered him.

  • Cherrysplash smiled at both Blossomskies and Runningstorm. Somewhere, she sensed crushing in the air. "You two can pair up. I'll go with Leafstrike." She replied, turning to scan the forest of the cat.

OOC: Has Leafstrike's RPer ( forgot the user, and I'm too lazy to look xP ) been on lately?

  • [They were last on today but last replied yesterday, if they haven't replied by tomorrow either Cherrysplash can follow them or I can bring another cat into the equation. It's totally up to you Rita =], by the way I love that film XD]

Runningstorm nodded his head in approval, somewhat glad that Cherrysplash agreed. He gestured with his chocolate hued tail for Blossomskies to follow him in the direction of the meadow, his frost blue eyes briefly glancing towards her.

  • Blossomskies shook out her long fawn fur and followed, unusually glad to be with Runningstorm. "So where should we hunt?" she asked softly.
