  • Christophe began to pad around aimlessly in circles, mumbling under his breath. He probably looked crazy, but he didn't care at that moment. He had a lot on his mind, and was feeling restless.

    ((Low muse~))

  • OOC: Me too, hehe.

IC: Texanspirit stared at him, her hazel eyes clouded with worry. There was obviously something going on with him. She slowly rose to her paws, brushing a clump of snow of her shoulder. ''Okay spill it.'' she said, in a surprisingly no-nonsense tone. ''I normally ain't one to be nosey but theirs obviously something ya worried about.''

  • ((Heh, yush, I love Homestuck~))

Christophe stopped pacing, glancing up at Texanspirit. He looked for a moment as if he might argue or refuse to say anything, but he sighed and sat down in the snow. "I vaz juzt zhinking about my zizter, and La Reziztance, and all of ze catz who have ever died becauze of me," he muttered, frowning. "And now I am ztarting to vonder eef eet vaz ztupid inviting you along."

  • OOC: I could never really get into Homestuck. :c All my friends loved it but I got bored with it after awhile.

IC: Texanspirit stared at him, not knowing what he was speaking of. The last part hurt though. ''Why would it have been stupid for ya to bring me along?'' she meowed, her ears flattening against her head. ''I thought I was doing agood job keepin' up with ya. And what's all this about cats dyin' because of ya?''

  • ((It took me a reeeeaaally long time--I gave up on it at one point and started again because my friend literally forced me to xD It was really boring to me up until about the middle of act II))

Christophe sighed and rolled his eyes. Why did she-cats always have to take things the wrong way? Didn't they understand words? "It juzt zeemz zhat everyone I get cloze to endz up dying zomehow," he muttered, flicking his tail. "I guezz I juzt got ze bad end of ze deal when eet comez to luck. Zomezhing alvayz happenz; a cat zat I know goez crazy or turnz completely psycho. Or maybe zhey are picked off by dogz vhile ve are valking through ze forezt. Or...," he trailed off, looking at her. "I zhink you get eet."

  • OOC: I kinda skipped around the whole thing, looking for interesting parts. XD But when I found interesting parts, I didn't understand what was going on so I just gave up. Lol.

IC: Texanspirit relaxed, feeling embarassed that she had been so defensive. She looked down at her paws, not looking at him before she spoke. ''I'm sorry.'' she whispered. ''I didn't mean to take it the wrong way.'' she glanced up at him. ''But you don't have to worry about loosing me too. What happened before, maybe that was badluck. But no need to 'ave a badluck outlook on life. 'cause if ya worry about it to much, you'll just stress yourself out.'' Texanspirit was never very good at giving advice. She wasn't exactly sure what to say to help Ze Mole. But she gave it a shot anyway and hoped that he kinda understood her point.

  • ((xD It can be really hard to follow at some points. I'd be completely lost if I just skipped even one page .-.))

Christophe flicked his ears. "I guezz you're right, maybe zat vaz all juzt a fluke," he said, though he didn't sound too convinced. "But vezher I'm vorrying or not, I can't zeem to get avay from strezz." Christophe had gotten to the point where, more often than less, everything in the world seemed to either anger, irritate, or annoy him, which led to him being stressed out all the time. It was a wonder he hadn't completely lost it by this point; though, his sanity was slowly but surely dwindling. "Anyvayz, az long az you avoid being eaten by dogz or going on a killing spree, ve should be fine for the mozt part," he said, still trying to convince himself that what he was saying was true...No, who was he fooling? Something would happen, and Texanspirit would end up dead or insane, and he'd end up in the same state he'd been in before.

  • OOC: Yeah, I agree.

IC: Texanspirit nodded. ''I'll stay away from dogs. And I doubt I have enough power to go on a killin' spree.'' she meowed, a hint of amusement in her tone. ''And just try not ta dwell on the past, look forward ta the future.'' her tone was serious once more as she tried to reassure him. ''We'll be okay. I promise.'' she didn't know for sure the dangers of such a promise especially when they were traveling to who knows were. But she would anything to help Ze Mole feel reasured and comfortable with her traveling with him.

  • Christophe smirked, getting to his paws. "Usually eet eez me giving ze pep talks, but eet looks like ze tablez have turned," he murmured, flicking his tail. "We should get going now. Ready?"

((Do you have any plot ideas? I'll try to think of something x3))

  • Texanspirit nodded. ''Yep, I'm ready.'' she meowed, flciking her tail.

OOC: Hmm, well first we should decide were their going and maybe we can go from there. :3

  • ((That would make sense x3 Are they still going towards Carrionplace? I think that's what we said before))

Christophe nodded and set off, thankful that, for the most part, the snow had melted away into the ground, though it was irksome stepping through the slushy mess that had been left behind.

  • OOC: Oh, yeah! That's the direction they were heading towards. Hmmm, maybe they get their and...I was think junkyard dog or infected rat one of them eats by mistake...but maybe something not life-threatening should happen for once. XD

IC: Texanspirit followed, avoiding the muddy slush that surrounded them. It would probably get worse as they went on because the snow was melting so fast. It shouldn't be a problem unless it got really deep and they got stuck. Then that would be something to worry about.

  • ((xD Humm...Well, I liek the infected rat idea thing x3 Orrr maybe we could bring another character into the story that Texanspirit happens to like or something but who really irks Mole, and...He/she tries to completely take over this little thing they have going xD))

Christophe, who hadn't thought to avoid the stuff on the ground like his counterpart had, scrunched up his nose as what used to be the ground but was now a watery, slushy, muddy mess, sucked at his paws. Sure, the snow melting had been a seemingly good thing, but it certainly had and would prove to be problematic. After a while, they finally seemed to get away from the worst of it, and things seemed relatively good.

  • OOC: Hehe, I like that idea. XD Like, a really obnoxious, nosey cat that's gets all up in their business and is just the complete opposite of them. But Texanspirit likes him/her so she just puts up with it. Then maybe Mole and Texan get the rat sickness and they have to rely on the newcomer. Mehehe, I think I'll bring in Nitro. :3

IC: Texanspirit caught the smell of Carrion Place before she even saw it. She stuck her tounge out in disgust. ''Yuck, were nearin' Carrion Place right about now. I can smell it.'' she muttered, trying not to breath in the rank air. She stepped up the pace when she saw the junkyard coming into view. ''Okay so this is way close to ShadowClan territory. We gotta be careful.'' she meowed.

  • ((YUSH I liek that xD This is good, combining two ideas to make one big, awesome one. It's liek...Teamwork and...Brain...Power... xDD Mole is probably gonna end up blowing up and totally biting the newcomer's head off xD))

Christophe nodded in agreement, slowing down some as they neared. "I am definitely not in ze mood to deal viz one of zhoze Shadowclanners," he muttered crossly with an irritated wave of his tail, remembering his last encounter with a Shadowclan cat. He padded on towards Carrion-place, trying--for the most part--to get past the smell.

  • OOC: Yes! Team work! :D Makes for epic plottage. And I can totally picture Mole biting his head off. Teehee! XDD

IC: Texanspirit contniued to push forward till they were at the entrance of Carrion place. She was starting to get used to the smell as best she could but it was there, lingering in her nose like a pesky intruder. She flicked an ear irritably before advancing into the junkyard, gazing around at the heaps of junk. Rats scurried around the rubble. One scent continued to stand out to her from all the others scents. It was familar but she couldn't quiet put a paw on it.

The lithe form of a silver tabby suddenly darted from a pile of scrap metal. It was a tom, with a raggedy pelt and bright green eyes. He wore a satchel over his shoulder and carried a wooden spoon clamped firmly in his jaws as if he could fight of the newcomers with it. He stared at Texanspirit threateningly before dropping the spoon and taking a step back. ''Texanspirit?'' he meowed, in a high pitched voice.

  • (( xD ))

Christophe slowed to a stop, looking around the area and trying to figure out the best route to take. He'd been aiming to come here to Carrion-place and then go north to the land that lay beyond, away from the clans, but his sense of direction was completely lost in this place. He flicked his tail in annoyance, preparing to set off again, when a silver shape jolted past him. He blinked, whipping around, to see the cat talking to Texanspirit. He stared for a moment before frowning. "Now who ze hell eez thiz?" He growled in annoyance.

  • Texanspirit stared at the tom, confused for a moment. Then her eyes lit up. ''Nitro!'' she squealed, in a total fan girl squeal. ''I haven't seen ya in seasons!'' Nitro had been an old friend of hers back when she was a new warrior. She'd met when she had decided to take a little trip outside the territory just for the fun of it and the two became almost instant friends. Of course, she only got to see him on occassions. Now it appears he'd moved into the Carrion Place.

''Yep, that's me.'' Nitro replied, a wid grin on his face. Beneith the dirt and dust, he was actually a quite handsom tom but moving to carrion place had some disadvantages. ''What are you all the way out here? Exploring outside Wind-whatsit again? Or maybe you just can't stay away from me. Haha I bet that's it. Oh hey, who's your other friend?'' he babbbledon, in a non-stop stream.

Texanspirit giggled. ''Nitro, this is my friend Ze Mole. I'm traveling with him.'' she cast a glance at Ze Mole. ''Ze Mole, this is Nitro. An old friend.''

  • Christophe raised a brow as he watched the two, who obviously knew each other. He nodded to Nitro as Texanspirit introduced him, annoyance plain in his gaze. "Nitro...Nice to meet you," he muttered, though his tone implied that it was anything but. Already, the cat's bubbly, hyperactive personality was rubbing him the wrong way. Any other time, he wouldn't have made any kind of an effort, but he figured Texanspirit would only chew him out if he didn't try to make conversation. "I'm guezzing you're a loner?"
