''I'll try.'' Texanspirit murmered, watching him walk away. He turned back to the cub and started to chew the marigold petals. She grimaced at the taste. What was it I was supposed ta do with these? Feed it ta him? Or maybe put it on his cuts? She kept chewing as she thought. Here goes nuthin'. Parting her jaws, Texanspirit spat the herb's juices on to the wounds and carefully worked them into the gashes. ''Gross.'' she muttered under her breath. She didn't notice the kit in the rabbit burrow, she was to busy working.
-
Christophe continued to pad along, muttering under his breath, his senses alert for any sign of prey. He trudged through the snow, his tail trailing behind him, until finally the distant sound of claws scraping on wood caught his attention. Without wasting time, he darted forward towards the sound, and barely caught the small mouse, clamping his paw down on its tail. "About time," he muttered, leaning over and picking it up in his jaws. He managed to scrape up a sorry excuse for a magpie before heading back.
--The cub let out a small whine, cringing as Texanspirit applied the herbs. It instinctively flattened its ears, pulling its lips back into a snarl. As intimidating as it tried to make itself look, there was nothing it could to do protect itself. Though, oddly enough, the pain began to fade into a pulsing, numb feeling as the herbs went to work.
-
Lovepaw caught a mouse that managed to scramble a few tail swipes away from Christophe.
She ran to the burrow before Christophe could say anything.Occ.sorry i meant lovepaw. DX
-
((Its cool x3))
Christophe froze in his tracks, blinking in surprise as Lovepaw scrambled across his path. He frowned, letting out a breath, and continued on, not bothering to investigate. The cat, whoever it was, had looked pretty well off on its own. By the looks of it, how quickly she'd run back to her den, she didn't want to be confronted, and he wasn't gonna bother someone who obviously didn't want to be seen.
-
Texanspirit stood up and looked around. She reached into the crevece between to rocks and fished around for some cobweb. When she pulled her paw out, it was covered in the sticky web. She gently wrapped the cub's wounds in the cobwebs.
-
Lovepaw ate the mouse,it was small and scrawny, not barely enough to feed a apprentices!so she went to find something else.she sighed at looked at her paws, almost bumping into Christophe.she stopped in her tracks,"uh..im sorry.."she said before calmly padding away.
-
Christophe paused once more as Lovepaw bumped into him, glancing down at her with a raised brow. "Juzt be more careful, okay?" He mumbled around the prey, feeling more exhausted than ever now; he wasn't in the mood to yell at some apprentice for being so ditzy. Once again, he made to set off, then hesitated, his whiskers twitching. He smelled clan scent all over this cat; sheesh, how many cats ran away from their clans in the night? "Iz zhere a reazon you are all zhe vay out here inztead of vith your clan?" He called before she could get too far away.
-
((XD))Texanspirit bared her fangs. Pass through? Was this tom nuts?! She knew of several cats who would rip his throat out the moment they caught his scent on their territory. He should be considering himself lucky that he'd only run into her. ''Tensions are high right now.'' Texanspirit hissed. '' 'specially after the rouge attack on our camp. We can't just be lettin' strange cats pass through our territory with out being confronted first.'' she flicked her tail in annoyance.

Occ.ok.
Ic.she stopped,"yes,a tom said he'd kill me,so i left."she said.then she dug through the snow and found a rabbit burrow and pulled up the rabbit."someone must have forgot to dig this up..it's recently been killed.."she told herself.
-
Christophe raised a brow at this, flicking his tail. "Zat eez unfortunate," he finally said, turning and preparing to walk off. "Well, ze bezt of luck to you." Back when he'd started La Resistance, he might have told her about it, allowed her to come along with him and stay with them. But those days were past him, and he certainly couldn't do something like that again when it had all crashed and burned before.
-
Texanspirit waited patiently for Ze Mole's return. She glanced at the cub everyonce in a while before her gaze traveled back to the area he had dissapeared to. Her stomach yowled in protest and she swollowed back another wave of nausia.
-
Christophe neared the others, both pieces of prey dangling from his jaws. He slowed to a stop behind Texanspirit and dropped them both on the ground. "If I vere you, I vould eat up, it may be ze only prey for a vhile," he said to attract her attention, picking up the magpie and leaving the mouse for her. He padded over to the den where the cub lay and dropped it in front of it.
-
Texanspirit turned around at the sound of Ze Mole's voice. ''Thanks,'' she purred. Taking the mouse in her jaws, she started to eat hungrily. It was a small thing but it sent a wave of energy through the she-cat's body. She ate half of it an looked over atZe Mole. ''Ain't ya gonna eat to?'' she asked.
-
Christophe shrugged, watching as the fox greedily gulped down the tiny morsel. "I vould razher feed you two firzt," he said simply. "I'lll find zomezhing later." Exhaustion showed plainly in his eyes, and he padded a little bit away from them, stopping in the shadow of a large pine. Yawning, he curled up beneath it, resting his muzzle on his paws and staring out into the snow, thinking.
-
Texanspirit srugged. ''Well, if your sure...'' she finished off the mouse hesitantly. Her jaws parted in a huge yawn and she got up and layed down near the fox cub. She wrapped her tail around her small body and tried to go to sleep. But it didn't come easily to her.
-
Rather than sleeping, Christophe once again found his mind wandering to his sister. Muttering something under his breath, he forced his eyes shut, and eventually fell into a deep, well-needed rest, snoring lightly.
-
Texanspirit shifted uncomfortably. She always had trouble sleeping. She sighed and rolled onto her back, gazing up at the stars. Her eyes reflected the glitter of Silverpelt. She wasn't sure how long she lie awake but when she opened her eyes, it was dawn. Texanspirit lie there for a moment.
-
By dawn, Christophe was up and awake, and had managed to find a family of three scrawny mice living in an old fox den. He padded towards where they had been staying, tossing a mouse to the cub and then leaning over Texanspirit, dropping it beside her. "Eat quick. Ve have to leave zoon," he mumbled around his own mouse.
-
Texanspirit grunted as she rolled back over on her belly. She regreted falling asleep on her back for she had slept on it wrong. She streached, trying to drive the soreness in her muscles away. She took a bite of her mouse. ''What are we going to do with the cub?'' she asked curiously.
