  • Icestorm frowned and padded to her den, thinking about the day's events. Whitepaw was dead. He'd been her friend. Her only friend. And his own father had killed him.

  • Ciro saw some deep memories, one of Snake accepting him into the band of rogues. Ciro just continued to stare lifeless at the ground, he was unnaturally still, staring at nothing then he responded his voice sounded just as lifeless as his gaze, "I'm ok."

  • (sure)
Ciro was at the edge of the camp staring at nothing in particular. He paced back and forth at the edge of the clearing.

  • Icestorm questioned everything about her life. She sighed. She'd murdered a cat today. She'd found out her only friend had died. He might have been her only friend. Thorn and Ciro, they were her friends, she supposed, but she wasn't sure. They would get along without her. Icestorm's parents hated her. Her Clan had driven her out. Nothing was worth it anymore. She just didn't care anymore.

  • Thorn twitched in her dream.
Run. Run faster! She heard the rogues approaching.
She and her father ran, except.. it wasn't her father. It was... Icestorm?
Then as they jumped the scene melted into another.
The white tom and the group of rogues, attacking Ciro and Icestorm.
"Let them go!" Thorn pleaded, "Kill me instead! I'm the one that told everyone I was the medicine cat's daughter!"
Then she flashed forward. Icestorm and Ciro lay dead, in a pool of their own blood.
    "No!"
No matter how many times she tried, she couldn't end her life too. After all, what was the point of living when you have nothing to live for? But she wouldn't die. Thorn tried to wake up.

Thorn shot up, gasping and trembling. What time was it?

  • Ciro felt his emotions slowly ebb away into nothingness until all that was left inside of him was an empty hole. He stopped pacing, he stared at the bushes blankly, all life seemed to seep out of him as he just stood there. He was locked in his memories.

  • Thorn padded out and saw Ciro standing there. Should I go up to him? Probably not. Every cat needed time to.. cope.

  • His tail and drooping and brushed the ground, his expression was blank then after a few moments he took steps forward and disappeared into the bushes.

  • Thorn ran to Icestorm. "Where are you going?" She whimpered, then put on a brave face and repeated the question. "Where are you going?"

  • Thorn saw Ciro leave, too. She remembered her dream. There's no point in living if there's nothing to live for. Well, the only two things holding her to this Earth were Ciro and Icestorm. "Maybe I could find a generous wolf that would make my death quick and painless." She muttered.

  • Ciro felt his way through the forest, he was walking somewhere but he was following where his paws was taking him. He heard whispers around him and sometimes he saw shadows flicker but when he turned to face them they would disappear.

  • Thorn was about to run off to the nearest gorge when she stopped and came to her senses. "No." She mewed quietly. "No." She yowled it this time. "It can't and won't end like this!" She meowed, then ran after Ciro.

  • Icestorm eventually sat down beneath a willow tree, sheltered from the snow by its low-hanging branches. She gazed through the braches at the stars above. She wondered, Is StarClan still with me? How could they be, if all this is happening? Will something good ever come to me? She sighed quietly.

  • Ciro saw Lialica leaving a question burned in his gaze then he whipped his head towards the white cat and leaped at it, slashing his long claws down it's back.

She heard the comotion and dashed back.

  • Thorn raced after Icestorm, then, seeing her under the willow tree, barreled into her. "Don't leave!" She pleaded.
