Thorn sighed, when would Icestorm learn she didn't have to be nervous around her? "Okay! I'll go hunt, Ciro, care to accompany one of us?" She mewed, then started padding towards the forest.

Ciro said quietly, "I'll start on the fresh kill pile."
-
"Okay.." She muttered, feeling like she had said something wrong. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Then she padded off to hunt down some food.
-
Ciro padded off to the northern side of the forest, he searched for prey silently. He breathed in deeply, he smelt the scent of rabbit, quickly he followed the scent. He saw a flash of brown, then he saw the rabbit hopping in front of him, quickly he dashed forward and killed the rabbit with a swift blow to the neck.
-
Icestorm's wounds were healing nicely, so she found it much easier to move through the trees. She had Thorn and Ciro to thank for that. They'd saved her. She was glad to have the two of them around. She went out, searching for herbs. She was still surprised she remembered all of the herbs she'd picked up on during her time in the medicine cat's den.
-
Ciro left the rabbit near the tree and continued hunting, his pawsteps silent yet swift, then after he successfully killed two mice, a raven, and a sparrow.
-
Thorn scented a sparrow nearby, then spotted it, singing in the trees. She dashed towards it and killed it with a bite to the spine. Before the heat had gone from it's body she saw a squirrel dart up a tree, she raced after it and scrambled up the tree. Then she tried a new tactic, instead of just killing it, she pounced on it and swatted the helpless creature down from the tree. It landed with a soft thud. As she saw the life fade from it's eyes, she remembered the stream. Surely there is prey there! She thought. So she padded off to the stream, in search of fish.
-
Icestorm was surprised at how well stocked the area was. She found several varieties of herbs. Once she'd gathered all she could carry, she padded back toward the camp.
-
Ciro brought back the prey that he'd caught then went out again to search for some more.
-
Thorn sat, watching the stream, every time she saw the flash of color from a fish, she'd snatch it out of the water before they could say glub. Then she saw a small mouse, drinking water, and killed that with a blow to the head. Then she padded back to camp with 3 fish, a mouse, a sparrow, and a squirrel. She dropped them off then went back out hunting.
-
Once Icestorm returned, she was pleased to see that a fresh-kill pile had already started up. She found a little crevice between two rocks, and places her bundle of herbs in it. That would do for a medicine stock for now.
-
Ciro leaped up a tree and looked down to see if any prey was on the ground, he remained as still as stone except for the occational twitch of his tail.
-
Thorn saw a fat rabbit, and stalking up to it, she pounced on it and ended it's life in a matter of seconds. Then she found a vole, and took it's life by biting it's throat. That's when she saw a hawk, watching her from the safety of a pine tree. Could I catch that... She wondered, after all, her father had been a tribe cat. No, it would probably eat me first. She sighed as she watched it fly away. Her ears perked as she heard a peep. No, impossible, babies at this time of year? But she climbed up anyway, and found two little baby hawks. I-I can't kill them! They haven't done anything wrong! But, cats come first....
-
Ciro saw an eagle and narrowed his eyes, he never caught an eagle before, plus he knew he could die if he did try to hunt it. He frowned then shrugged, he waited for the eagle to fly beneath him then he jumped, his claws sank into the eagle's back it let out a loud, bone-chilling, heart-stopping screech. Ciro looked down and he looked up again and winced, he was so high above the ground now, the eagle struggled and swooped and twisted in the air but he still held on but barely. He bit into the eagle's back, it let out another cry.

hi im back
Hawkshadow sat down near a river
-
Icestorm headed back out, figuring she might as well catch a bit of prey. She pricked her ears as she heard two screeches. She raced toward the sound, scared for what she might find, and saw Ciro attacking the eagle. "Ciro! What are you doing?" She called out in alarm. She knew how dangerous hunting eagles was. Any birds of prey, really.
-
He looked down and looked up again and yowled down with amusement yet alittle bit of regret in his voice, "Look I'm the first flying cat- whoa!" The eagle just jerked to one side trying to get him off, Ciro sank his claws in harder.
-
Thorn laughed at the sight of Ciro, the flying cat. "Having fun up there?" She shouted.
-
Ciro shouted back down, "Uh, now that I think of it not reALLY!" He yowled the last part as the eagle swerved upwards, he snarled and bite down on the eagle hard, the eagle let out a dying screech and fell. He yowled as he plummeted down, lucky he hit a branch, and he muttered as the eagle fell on the ground a few feet below him, "Not the softest landing, but I'm ok... I think."
