Airpaw twisted around in her sleep in a bush. Thanks to the earthquake, she got seperated by ShadowClan and had a long journey back, making her sleepy. But she couldn't sleep. She felt her heart thumping with happiness that urged her to stay awake. Am I falling in love? Airpaw thought. It's true, she is interested in a tom. The only question is: Who is the tom? No cat knew about Airpaw's secret crush, and she hoped no one would ask.

All of a sudden a white and black tom padded out of the bushes. "An apprentice? Wait, Airpaw? Aren't you from ShadowClan? I'm Coonshadow and I'm from ShadowClan too. It's good to know that another ShadowClan cat is here."
ooc: Can Coonshadow and Airpaw be in love? It would be a fun story...just asking unless you had someone else in mind. They could journey back to ShadowClan together. :)

IC: Lost in thoughts, Airpaw was unaware of Coonshadow. So she jumped in suprise.
"What?!" she cried, with every hair on her pelt up. -
"Whoa, no need to be so jumpy. We're both lost, so why don't we go back to ShadowClan together? We'd do much better together than alone. Besides, you're just an apprentice. How about it?" Coonshadow inquired.

Coonshadow walked silently, then paused and darted into a bush, coming out carrying a squirrel. "Share?" he asked.

"Umm, OK," Airpaw mewed. She was a bit hungry.

Coonshadow bit down into the squirrel, swallowed his bite and asked, "So..how did you get here? Like, lost, I mean."

"Lost in what?" Airpaw said between chews.

"Lost from ShadowClan." he said smoothly.

"Oh, the earthquake." Airpaw mewed. "The quake separated me from the Clan."

"Yeah, me too. It's so weird, though. Earthquakes rarely happen around here." Coonshadow cocked his head. "I wonder..."

Airpaw tilted her head in curiousity.

"Never mind" Coonshadow said quickly. He continued eating.

Airpaw continued eating with him. He's cute, she thought.

Coonshadow gazed at Airpaw adoringly, but quickly looked away so she wouldn't notice him staring. Gosh, she's pretty.
