Shadowshine squeezed out of the burrow, struggling a little due to the size of his shoulders. Once he managed to get out, he waited for Nymph before he began to head in the direction of the camp.
"Some cat's make not take too kindly to you," The tom warned. "However, many are very nice and you're also with me. You shouldn't have any problems but if a cat does cat get a little..." He tried to pick his words carefully. "Gets a little "uncomfortable" around you, just don't interact with them."
Shadowshine decided to skirt around the river supposed to padding across it, he didn't like the idea of slipping on the wet ice nor dealing with an injured she-cat.
"Blackkit should be in the nursery, he is very good but may ask you lots of questions." Shadowshine warned Nymph.

Nymph nods slowly, lowering her head and slinking after him, something seemed off about her now, her eyes were flashing and she had this meanacing look about her now. She kept her head low and didn't say a word, legs revolving in one long motion as she walked after you, blue eyes glistening.
-
Shadowshine was oblivious to her "off" attitude, he was far too excited about Numph meeting Blackkit. They soon came across a slight bank, which over looked the RiverClan camp. The tom turned his attention upon Nymph before gesturing down the hill before bounding down it himself, he came to an abrupt halt at the bottom and sighed.
'It's good to be home,' He thought in delight. -
Nymph didn't budge, just halted abruptly and stared down at the other cats wide eyed with her big blue eyes, one paw in the air Don't go down their Nymph, all cats your around die, listen to Pente, you kill, your meant to kill, sit right there and stay, do not go towards those cats Nymmph slammed her head on the ice and shut her eyes, blocking out the voices and hissing to herself loudly, tail lashing before forcing her legs to follow after Shadow Shine, massive head still low to the ground like a snake poised to strike
-
Shadowshine turned and gazed upon Nymph, a glimmer of humour within his amber eyes.
"What are you doing?" He asked, noting how low her head was. "Are you shy?" He joked before he began to slowly pad through the camp. He hoped Nymph would follow him, he was really excited about introducing Blackkit to her. The Chocolate Pointed tom stuck his head into the nursery, beckoning his son to come and meet Nymph.
"Blackkit, there's someone I want you to meet," Shadowshine cooed before he backed out and allowed Blackkit to appear.Blackkit was, well, as his name suggest's, a completely jet black young tom-cat with sea green eyes. He tilted his head a little as he gazed upon his father with curious round eyes.
"Whose that?" He asked in a demanding tone. -
Nymph raised her beautiful head and cauitously padded to Shadow Shines side, she lowered her head again to look down on the little black kit
"My Names Nymph" She purrs kindly, her deep unforgiving blue eyes showing no hint of softness, although she was trying not to look scary with her intimidating size and looks
-
Blackkit's ears flattened slightly, his green eyes peered up into Nymph's before he aburptly turned away from her.
"Why have you brought her here?" The kit demanded. "She isn't a Clan cat, otherwise she'd have a Clan name!"
Blackkit edged away from Nymph, his own eye's now appearing cold and hard, before he hid behind Shadowshine.
"Who is she to you, dad?"Shadowshine appeared rather hurt by how rude Blackkit was to Nymph, he gently put his tail over the she-cat in a friendly manner before he turned upon his son.
"She is a friend, Blackkit, and I wanted you to be the first one to meet her." Shadowshine explained gently. "It doesn't matter if she isn't a Clan cat, she is still a very special friend of mine."
The tom then hesitated at Blackkit's next question, unsure as to what to say to his son. He turned to Nymph for help, it was obvious he was a bit clueless when it came to being a father. -
Nymph purred to the cat "I understand I'm not a clan cat, and I'm not welcome here, I will be leaving soon if you wish Black kit, he just wanted me to meet you, he told me how great you are" She purred a motherly tone to her voice that seemed to echo around the camp and sooth the bird themselves "I helped him out from getting stuck in a.." She paused "A huge sow bank that collapsed" She winked at Shadow Shine, making his story sound more heroic so the kit would look up to his father, instead of getting stuck under a snow man
-
Shadowshine nodded his thanks to Nymph, a pleasant smile on his face.
"See, she is a good and kind cat," Shadowshine spoke, his tone a little forceful. "Surely you wouldn't mind if I were to... See Nymph more often." He paused briefly, he didn't want to lose Nymph because of his son but nor was he going to leave his son for a she-cat. "Don't you like Nymph?"Blackkit giggled a little at Nymph's story about his dad getting trapped under snow, however as soon as Shadowshine spoke the humour was gone from his eyes.
"I don't like her eyes," He stated, occassionally he'd glance up at them. "But why do you want to see a cat you rescued you?" -
Nymph didn't look at all offended by the kittens comment about her eyes "He's just saying thank-you to me" She purred to the kitten kindly, defending Shadow Shine in a unnoticable way as she stood, her long tail casting over the kitten as it began to curl back and forth along her body
-
"No, I wasn't saying thank you!" Blackkit snapped. "Just because I'm a kit, it doesn't mean I'm brain dead."
Blackkit eyed Nymph in suspicion, angered by her patronising attitude.
'Why does every cat try to patronise me?' He thought bitterly.Shadowshine appeared horrified by Blackkit's statement, his eyes filled with sadness.
'I can't believe I'm going to have to chose between the two,' He thought, heartache evident within his eyes.
He shook away that thought and gestured for Blackkit to go into the nursery.
"Go and play for a while, I need to talk to Nymph about grown-up stuff." Shadowshine spoke gently before he shooed his son away. "Ahh," He sighed. "I'm sorry about him, ever since Paintedheart and his sibling's went, he has been a little off."
His gaze was lowered in defeat, no longer did he appear happy or excited like he was before.
"I'll be honest with you, Nymph. My son is my world, but I want you to be apart of it. I... I really, really like you. Can we try and work it out, that's if you like me in that way and want to." -
Nymph dipped her head to him "I think its better you stay with your son anyway, I wasn't meaning for that to come out like that, i meant you were saying thank-you for me helping you, not like that" The wind began to blow harder "But if I may ask, could I stay the night, I'll be gone and out of your hair by dawn when the wind has died down" She murmurs slowly, and without another word, pads to a shadowy corner in the camp, curls into a ball and closes her big unforgiving blue eyes, long pluming tail blowing in the wind
-
Shadowshine opened his mouth to object, but Nymph had disappeared into a corner. A despressive energy glowed around the tom, his eye's were dulled and his shoulder's sagged.
"Why can't I find anyone who make's me happy?" He spoke quietly to himself before he began to pad away to the warrior den.Blackkit overheard the conversation and despite the fact he wasn't keen on the she-cat, or sharing his dad, he didn't like to see his father unhappy. With that he padded into the shadowy corner where Nymph was curled up, it was evident the kit didn't want to be there but that he'd done it off of his own back.
"I don't know who you are or why you have strange eyes." Blackkit began. "But I know my dad wouldn't introduce me to a random cat who happened to save his life, unless he thought fondly of them. I don't really like you, but if you make my dad happy then I won't be rude."
For such a young kit, he spoke in a very matter-of-fact tone and was fairly mature by the way he spoke. -
"Your not being rude" Nymph huffed sadly, raising her head to stare at the kit now standing before her, speaking to him like he was an adult "I invaded you and your fathers world, I'll be gone by dawn, I promise" SHe murmured, keeping him in a steady gaze, not moving or blinking her big cold eyes
-
Despite the fact Blackkit was fairly young, not even close to being an apprentice, he was mature because of how alone he usually was. With a sigh, he rolled his eyes in frustration before shrugging.
"If that's what you want," Blackkit stated. "So you came all this way to meet me and now my dad doesn't mean anything to you?" -
Nymph stiffened at the kits comment, trying to stop the voices beginning to rise in her head You killed Pente, he meant something to you didn't he? Yea, you killed your family, they mena tsomething to you, die, die, Nymph hissed loudly to herself and gripped her head,s hutting her horrid blue eyes as they dilated, focusing and unfocusing. Her voice was no longer soft, sounding like a million voices hurled into one as she spoke a mile a minute
"You father is kind, he means a lot to me, what more do you want me to say," She hissed, thousands of voices grinding together and whispering around her head "Black Kit, I suggest you walk away, I'm not being mean, I'm just saying, this won't make you like me anymore then you already do-.." Her voice turned into a snarl and she began to yell and hiss with herself, blue eyes rolling up in her head as she clawed at her ears, trying to get the voices to stop Not here, not now!
-
Blackkit noted the change in the she-cat's voice, however he presumed that she didn't like him.
"Don't tell me what to do!" He snapped. "Every cat thinks that because I'm a kit I don't have feelings! Well, you know what I'd love, I'd love to force feed the hatred and lonliness I feel everyday!" The tom growl in anger. "You know what, I don't believe you one bit. If he meant something to you, surely you'd fight for something like that? He means a lot to me, he is the only family I have left, and I'm fighting for some happiness for him!"
Blackkit noticed the she-cat begin to cover her ears with her paws, instantly he thought she was ignoring him.
"Don't ignore me!" He spat. -
"I'm not ignoring you!" She hisses, raising her massive blue eyes, eyes watering with pain of the voices "I understand your pain, the lonlienss everything, thats why if you don't like me I will go because if you love someone you have to be willing to let them go!!" Her voice echos around the camp and she begins to sob, voices pounding her head "If you want your father to be happy then I'll stay, I just didn't want ot make that lonliness greater for you by me being around considering you already seem to hate me" She screamed, tears pooling from her eyes, voices pounding her head as she desperately tryed to get them to stop "Please, I'm sorry, I wouldn't ever ignore a brilkiant brave kit like you, I'll stay, anything, I'm sorry" SHe shut her eyes as she felt herself beginning to black out "PENTE!!"
-
Blackkit began to take a step back, somewhat confused and worried by the she-cat's sudden upset outburst.
'Oh dear, what has father found!' He thought in horror.
No, he didn't like her one bit but he knew his father thought fondly of her.
'I'm sure I can put up with her for dad's sake.' He thought before he nodded his vigorously to her response.
His father was often off and doing things without him, it wouldn't make much of a difference if a she-cat were to take the place of his mother. The thought of his mother angered him, he felt betrayed that she had left him for no apparent reason. Before Blackkit even got a chance to reply, the she-cat appeared to have fainted or something.
"Oh, dear..." Blackkit mumbled before he dashed to find his father in the warrior's den. "Dad, you're female friend has passed out!"Shadowshine had been sitting silently in his nest, appearing to be asleep but he was in deep thought. The entrance of his son caused Shadowshine to perk up, his eyes turned upon his son before he dashed out of the den at his words. He ordered Blackkit back to the nursery before he came to crouch beside Nymph.
"Nymph" He nudged the she-cat with the tip of his nose. -
Nymph opened one eye slowly, still gripping her ears "Now would be a great time to kill me" She muttered flalty, a joking yet loving tone in her voice, cold eyes harsher then normal, she glared back over at the kit, "Sorry" She murmured quietly, blood dripping from her ears
