    That was my subaccount talking {note the "played by Wynn"} to get everyone's attention.


    If people are rude, mean etc. REPORT THEM. Do not engage in their nastiness. Just ignore them and report them. Rudeness is our #1 rule break here and I don't tolerate it for a second. I'm pretty laid back usually but not with this!


    We are working on your side here and want to help YOU avoid having to deal with any rudeness. Name-calling, bullying, insults, arguing, and any other just plain impolite stuff--report it. It's this site's biggest no-no of all :)


    Rudeness of any kind will earn a warning for the first offence at the very least, and anyone who continues to do it will be suspended or banned.


    And make sure you are polite, yourself as well ^_^

    Yup. Don't respond to it, don't be rude yourself. Reporting it can earn you hundreds of freshkill points!

    xD Same here. At first, I thought it was a newbie telling that there was a mean person.


    Everone should taking bullying seriously; even if it's a joke. If they take it like they mean it, you should be sorry, and to be honest, reported on. Nobody will handle rudeness in such way on this site. It was meant to be a fun, creative site circling on a good book.

    Um, anyways, yes. Good message. There is always a portion of the membership who seems to forget this...

    No. NEVER take anything said IC personally. It is between characters, not between players; if one character insults your own that doesn't mean that the other roleplayer has something against you. On the contrary, banning IC conflict is a good way to kill a story.

    NOOOOO nononono. Only player-player interactions. Obviously your characters can be mean to each other if that is in character for them. That is make-believe, we'd be pretty stupid to limit that on a creative writing site :)

    Yes, this is important. Always report if someone is being mean to you - or if you see someone else being mean. ;)

    Not necessarily. OOC fights could also be a result of confusion, or members who are just saying the first things that come into their minds when emotions are running high, or people who are just having a bad day and channeling their emotions the wrong way. c; It doesn't necessarily mean the people fighting are bad people, but regardless, fighting isn't allowed here. If anyone sees an OOC fight or finds themself entering one the best thing to do right away is to report, then ignore the thread for a while until the problem can be resolved. :)
