  • At the other side of camp...

"All right, I need two or three cats to come with me," he said.

  • Lilystripe padded after him, instantly kicking her senses into high gear as she came out of the entracne.

Frayscreech, turned back around, his eyes back to being half closed like usual with a shrug. He only went on patrols if he was explicitly told to. He began watching a spider building its web with considerable interest.

  • Rainpelt spotted a mouse not to far from camp. He crouched low on the ground, waited... then pouneced! He kicked dirt over his kill.

  • Lilystripe caught site, as they drew nearer and nearer to the river, of a large, old half-blind beaver. She crouched and sprang onto it, biting at it. It struggled and tried to roll over on her, swiping with its own paws and looking for any opportunity to get any part of her between it's strong, teeth. She gave it no chance though, clawed it's face so that it whipped away from her and got a hold of it's neck in her fangs and that was the end of it.

  • Rainpelt remembered that Crystalstar wanted rabbits so he sniffed the air. When he found a rabbit scent he followed it to a rabbit burrow. He waited outside.

  • Two rabbit came out of the burrow. In order to catch both he leaped over them and onto the burrow. Before they could get far he jumped on the nearst one and sank his teeth into its neck.
"Lilystripe! Catch that Rabbit!" he yelled while trying to catch it himself.

  • Lilystripe at once, started and turned around, dropping her Beaver, and as the rabbit tried to race past her, swatted with a strong paw and sent it rolling into a tree. Stunned as it was for but a second, Lilystripe pounced on it and delivered the kill bite.

  • Rainpelt caught up to her. "Nice job," he said. "Let's bring this back to camp." He picked up the rabbit.
