She only nodded once.

"Now?" He meowed, his eyes brightening.

She nodded again, now frozen.

Kilo purred and gently reachered for her scruff. He stopped before he grasped it. "You can tell me no." He meowed softly.

Ice's first instinct was to curl up, and beg him not to hurt her. But she remained frozen and stiff.

Kilo backed away and picked up her kill. "I will be in my den." He meowed before bounding into camp. He dropped Ice's kill on the pile and headed to his den.

Ice raced after him. She was nervous. She always got that way. When she arrived at his den, she didn't walk in. From outside she mewed, " Sorry! I'm just a little, " she said guiltily, " nervous.."

Cloud sighed and rested her head on her paws. She knew how Rocky felt.

Rocky looked around, then quickly slid into a hole in the ground.

Kilo stuck his head out of his den and looked at Ice. "No, I think you don't want my kits." He meowed simply.

Cloud's eyes widened when she saw Rocky slip out through the hole. So much of her wanted to follow. But, she knew trying to escape would only result in death.

She snuck through the tunnel, and it was right below the fresh kill pile. She grabbed a piece, and snuck back to the den. She set it by Cloud.
Ice did want his kits, she was just scared, she had never really had a mate before.... or kits, " I'm sorry, " she mewed and a tear rolled down her cheek, " I do want to have your kits...." she mewed quietly so no other cat could hear, besides him.

Cloud looked at Rocky in surprise. After a moment, she took a bite. Swallowing it quickly, she pushed the rest to Rocky.

Rocky took a bite, and then took it back down into the tunnels, and hid it.

Cloud stared at Rocky. She must have been here a long time to figure that out.

Rocky had dug it herself. and

Then why did you flinch up?" He meowed.

" I-I was nervous.." she mewed, " I've never had kits before... "

"Well, come in here and we can talk." He meowed as he stepped back to let her in. He layed down in his nest and flicked his tail to a nest beside him for Ice to sit in.
