Odd one out {Open to all}

    "It hurts. It makes me think about my mother. And why I'm alone. It's like a puzzle, but this is the only peice I've found."

    Limepaw nodded, knowing how Darepaw felt. "It hurts me too..but I guess I'm a bit better off, well slightly. You see, my mother left me as a kit for ThunderClan to take in." He paused, feeling as if he were opening a healed wound for Darepaw. Vulnerable. "I have memories... or visions... of her. But I hate to think I will never know her, or why she left me." He turned away from Darepaw, too embarrassed to speak any further. "One day they'll kick me out." His voice was lowered now, and as the chilly wind wrapped around him he felt more alone than he had in a long time. "Sometimes I feel like I should just disappear. You know?"

    Darepaw sighed,"I know the feeling."

    Limepaw almost wanted to go further, tell Darepaw about his plans for leaving the Clan to find his mother when he was older. "Do you ever feel restless?" he asked, not quite knowing how to explain it. "As if you're... missing something?" He sighed and got up. It was dark now, and the stars were spread like glittering frost across the sky. "I don't even feel like I'm a ThunderClan cat." He got up, looked at Darepaw again, and offered a smile to lighten their dark, heavy conversation. "You coming to sleep?"

    "I'm going to stay up and watch the stars," Darepaw meowed.

    Limepaw nodded and went into the dark den, unable to rid the thoughts of Darepaw from his head. He lay down in his nest and allowed himself to float into an unsteady sleep, plagued with the memories of his mother that seemed to haunt him from the day he was born.

    Darepaw looked up at the stars.

    Sorry. :-[ I'm not in this post anymore, but basically Darepaw and my cat Limepaw went out to battle-train, then had a pretty deep conversation, lol. xD Now Limepaw is sleeping in the den and Darepaw just stayed outside, looking at the stars. ^.^ Yup.
