    Rosekit tiptoed up to Lightningpaw's body. She took a deepp breath and layed down.


    Dear Lightningpaw,
    I sit here by your dead body to pray that you will be happy in StarClan. I've never met you before, but Mama says it's polite to pray for cats that have died anyways.


    I'm really sorry you weren't able to become a warrior. How could this have happened?!


    I mean...why couldn't you get that chance...that purpose?!

    Rosekit roe from her spot, and brushed her paw through Lightningpaw's fur.

    Blossomleaf pressed against Shrubfur. "That tom's gonna pay!" She hissed, she'd seen Lightningpaw's murderer at Gatherings!

    Ivymist looked down at Lightningpaw's dead body. She laid down and buried her face in his fur.


    Rainkit looked around. "Well? What happened to Lightningpaw?" she asked again. Aquakit kneaded her paws.

    Lostsong suddenly looked up, her eyes blazing. "Who did this?" she asked, her voice dangerously soft.

    "He was murdered by a cat who used to be a thunder clan warrior,his name is Hardsoul.I was their when Lightningpaw died so I know exactly how it happened,I think Lightningpaw did not desurve to die."Tigerlily said.

    They widened their eyes. "You mean...one of our clanmates killed him?" asked Aquakit, trembling.

    Firepaw piped up from his spot, "He's no clanmate of ours!" he spat harshly.

    The kits looked over at Lightningpaw again and back at Tigerlily. "Who would do such a thing?" Aquakit asked.

    "I ment Hardsoul,if you didn't know what I ment.And Hardsoul he's evil.He tried killing me and Lightningpaw a bunch of times and even threatened to get Tigerkit and Darkkit,my kits,"Tigerlily explained.

    "Because,I really don't know,probably because he's evil.Why else?Hardsoul even joined a clan called Fangclan for awhile,and well thats where I met him,when I was captured,"Tigerlily said.

    Rainkit narrowed her eyes. "Then he more than deserved to die!" she declared.
