"You saw our mom? And Mockingbird?" Sagenight's ears pricked, and his full attention was on his brother.

"In the twolegplace. Don't remember excactly where, though... Yeah, they're doing fine, by the looks of it. Must be a little bit desperate. Wanted a traitorius fugitive like me to join..." Catbird joked. "Hey, you know what, I think we should see with Puddlestar about enlisting you in as a Snowclan cat. Apprentice at least." Catbird said. "I also need to get my warrior ceremony. A bit overdue. Just a few moons, though..."
-
"Well, I'm not clueless as to fighting and hunting, and I even know parts of the warrior code now," Sagenight meowed. "But at least as a full member, yes. Are you going to her now or do you want to bring me along?"
-
"Probably should bring you along!" Catbird mused.
-
"Can I join??" A cat named Ripple emerged from the shadows. He was a lean white cat with amber eyes. He was known for almost but in attempt to murder 2 cats.

Icefeather - please remember this is a closed thread. It's unlikely your cat could get into the camp unnoticed, too.

Full membership...at the time of capture the mere idea was unfathomable. Now, it appeared to be within reach. Sagenight wasn't the angry Blackheart Rogue leader he had been when, well, he was the Blackheart Rogue leader. He had been determined to be the worst threat SnowClan had faced, because they'd taken his father away as a young kit. He and Catbird had come to the scene of the battle and his death itself, due to their own curiousity. His father's murderer and his friend had pondered taking him prisoner then.
Who'd have known that he'd wind up a prisoner a few short moons later? And, that Catbird would've became one of SnowClan himself?
Now, Sagenight wasn't the only prisoner. Ripple was outside, getting beat up by Shacklefang and Sagenight's own cousin Flurryfall. And that Tribe of Many Storms to-be, Clair...she was around. Should be. There was only one rightful place for a prisoner to be: in a prison. There were only two parts to the cave - the main one and one containing a pool - so she was nearby. He had been the only exception to the remaining-inside-the-prison rule, and even then he had a warrior with him.
He'd certainly appreciate a visit from his mate, Lilyvalley, a full warrior and sister of their former medicine cat, Violetskies. Also, his kits would be SnowClan apprentices now. Rascalpaw, Tasslepaw, and the others...he'd love to get to meet them, too. They knew their dad was an incarcerated former antiClan leader.
The brown tabby tom, son of Thrasherclaw and Shadowheart, lay calmly on his side, grooming himself and watching the occurings outside through the many small peepholes in the walls of the cave. He smiled grimly; in such fine weather he'd appreciate getting out. Even if it was a swamp out there.
-
Before, if some cat would've said Clair would be SnowClan prisoner some point in her life, she would've thought him crazy. But it seemed that the impossible suddenly had a liking of happening.
Now Clair lay miserably in the cave. She didn't really know what the prison cave was like and she didn't really care. What surprised her though was the scent of more cats- she'd thought the leader was hesitant about those things, from what she had seen. Getting up slowly, she pondered whether she should greet the other prisoner; she was bound to meet him sooner or later during the time she would stay anyway. Finally the black Tribe to-be got up and decided to see who was there.
-
The brown mackeral's ears flicked when he heard the sound of the she-cat prisoner getting up. He turned his head towards her curiously. "Hello," he meowed friendily. "Who're you? I'm Sagenight. Former leader of Blackheart Rogue, and son of Thrasherclaw and Shadowheart." As he would likely find out, this denmate was captured by his own half-brother, Rueheart.
-
"Hallo," Clair mewed passively, though with some surprise. Blackheart rogue leader? When Clair had first seen the other anti-Clan group they had seemed strong. So how did their former leader manage to get captured? "Clair, Tribe of Many Storms to-be, daughter of Calmnight and Adieu."
-
"So we're both the kits of a leader," thoughtfully meowed Sagenight. He went directly into the story of his imprisonment.
"I was five moons old when I got captured. Being Thrasherclaw's son, I'd naturally been looked favorably upon by Nocturnal, Thrasherclaw's successor. When I became leader, I knew I was too young to really lead the fiercest antiClan well. So I'd appointed Philadelphia as my co-leader, and then she killed a couple SnowClan warriors. So, SnowClan came to siege our camp. If there was one weakness, is was that there was only one entrance. The only other way out was down the face of a large cliff. My half-brother Cypresshill and I fought and we both got knocked out. Cypresshill isn't much older than me, only by a half-moon, really. SnowClan had been going to imprison us all, but I guess Philadelphia was able to make a deal.
"Anyways, now my half-brothers, Cypresshill and Rueheart, come in occasionally to visit. They're good folks. Treat me well. And my full brother Catbird comes in now, too."
-
"Rueheart?" Clair almost choked as she heard the name. "Rueheart's the one who captured me." The Tribe to-be glowered angrily. "We captured Rueheart and his mate after some battle they fought, against BloodClan I think. Pantherstrike ordered me to guard them, but they overpowered me and brought me here." She paused, then said: "If Catbird's your full brother, why isn't he down here too?"
-
"Long story." The truth was, Sagenight had been going for his first kill. Catbird had taken that opportunity from him and killed the cat himself, so angered, Sagenight drove him out of Blackheart Rogue. He ended up joining SnowClan. "He joined. Anyways, I know that Cypresshill and Rueeheart have a sister, Solarblaze, who's a BloodClan warrior."
-
"Joined? Why would anyone want to join this dump?" asked Clair incredulously. And Rueheart had another sibling in another group? How much family did he have?
-
"I know Solarblaze," continued Sagenight quietly. "When she was a BloodClan apprentice. As a sort of heir of Blackheart Rogue then, shortly before Nocturnal died, I made the alliance between BloodClan and Blackheart Rogue. I also made the Blackheart Rogue alliance with your Tribe."
-
Clair tilted her head. "How long ago was this?" she asked curiously. The Blackheart Rogue had made an alliance with BloodClan? Then suddenly she added: "What's BloodClan like?"
-
"They go under mainly a Clan setup, except that they are against the other Clans," explained Sagenight. "They have cannibals and serial killers in there."
-
Clair sat still, thinking for a moment. "That's... weird," she said finally. Then, "They sound a lot like us, just with the surname." And their numbers must be large too, to be able to risk being against all the other Clans while still being a 'Clan'.
-
"Yeah. All the Clans went down to try to exterminate BloodClan, but from what I know they're still out there," meowed Sagenight calmly. The brown tabby, skinny from being a prisoner but otherwise unharmed in any way, got up and padded over to Clair. "Don't get me wrong. I'm more on a proClan side now. But just because I'm proClan doesn't mean you can't talk to me. We're stuck in here, so might as well learn to put up with each other."
