  • OOC: Machozi and Nthanda are off to the side sleeping and trying to ignore the drama.

((Sorry I wasn't on much today- my dad took us all out to look at potential places to live. For that reason, I probably won't be on much tommorow either. Sorry, thought I ought to tell you))

  • Grun
Grun walked off and lay down. He was tired and mad.

    Mirana
Mirana looked at her and said "I'm sorry If I have caused trouble for you." She stood up and walked to another spot with her cub.

  • OOC: Okay, why can't Mirana just leave? It screws everything up. And plus, you already have another lioness character, so you're not missing out on anything...

    Njora:
Njora growled, feeling very upset and distressed. She did not feel safe ever leaving her cubs now, not with a strange lioness hanging around, and she deeply considered chasing the lioness off for good. Grun must be a completely inexperienced fool not to see this, and she wouldn't be surprised if he was overthrown soon enough. But that would spell for disaster for her cubs, as she well knew that any new male would kill all of the young cubs in the pride and there wouldn't be much she could do about it.

  • OOC: I told you how things are supposed to be kept REALISTIC. And lionesses never let an outside lioness into the pride. It reeeeally bothers me and prevents the RP from flowing like it should. Sorry to upset you or anything, but it's just very bothersome and unrealistic.

  • OOC: ..... I deleted her.......... GRR!

    IC: Grun
Grun walked to Mirana and said "I'm sorry but leave."

    Mirana
Mirana sighed and walked off. She was upset.
    *No more Mirana*

  • ~ A few weeks later ~

    Njora:
As the sun peeked over the horizon and cast a beautiful orange glow down across the land, a sleek golden lioness trotted across the plains toward a thicket, a spring hare dangling in her jaws. She roared softly between her teeth then dropped the limp prey on the ground, panting a bit as she looked around cautiously. A few seconds later, four cubs came tumbling out of the brush letting out little mewls of joy. Njora nuzzled the bouncing furry bundles, licking each with an affectionate purr. "Eat, my little ones, and grow strong," she encouraged. The cubs were already on the carcass, biting it and growling viciously as they tore apart the fur and dug into the succulent meat, digging their sharp little claws into the hare. Their mother watched her little to-be hunters in as she laid down a few tail-lengths away, basking in the morning sun. Soon, she would take her cubs to meet the pride.

  • OOC: Okay, you guys, I'm gonna go ahead an duck out of this thread, alright? It's been fun and all but you ssem to have this covered. Even though it said only a few weeks. I'm gonna say Nthanda is grown enough that he has to leave and Machozi will follow him

Nthanda got up and shook his mane, it seemed he was pretty big. He walked into the area with the females as unthreatenignly as he could and woke his sister,

    "Hey, it's the day."

    "Wha-?"

"Machozi, I've gotta leave. This is Grun's pride- I can't be here anymore."

"But, you're barely into your mane, Nthanda, You can't leave."

"Sorry, that's not how it works." He turened to leave. Machozi watched for a second but scrambled to her paws and ran after him,

"Look, I'll just come with you, just for a while."

"You don't have to, I can take care of myself."

"As if," she laughed pawing along at his side, "You males don't know how to hunt worh the dirt in your claws."

He laughed, glad his sister was coming with him.

  • OOC: There are hardly any members as it is, so we don't really "have it covered" if that's what you mean, but if you wish to leave, I cannot dissuade you. Although I wish you would stay, as your RPing kills are noteworthy and I was going to offer you to play one of Njora's cubs. :( Take care, though, if you insist on leaving. **Is anyone else willing to take on the resonsibility of playing a cub?**

Also, how would you guys feel about a plot idea I've thought of? I was thinking that tourists could come along and view the pride, and the lions could try to attack them or something. Just to spice things up a bit.

    Njora:
Njora helped rip apart the prey, since the cubs were still pretty small and weak. After they seemed to have eaten their fill, she started grooming each one thoroughly, purring louder than the engine of a safari truck.

  • OOC: Since there is a plot starting, I'll bring Machozi back, but after you have the cub she's going back to help Nthanda, alright?

Machozi returned to the pride lands- she should probably tell someone she was leaving. They expected Nthanda to be gone but not her, she was still a part of Grun's pride.
