  • OOC: I sorta lived moving half my life.

Swiftstar yowled as she got thrown off. " Willowpaw, run..."

  • OOC: My second move, I'm pretty excited though, but, scared...

IC: The massive lion turned to glare at Swiftstar, mouth watering. She would make a good meal. He lunged for her hind leg.

  • Swiftstar yanked her leg away, but hissed in fury as his teeth scratched her. She whipped around and aimed a swipe at his muzzle.

  • OOC: nah, I'm used to it by now. It's harder on my little brother and sisters.

Willowpaw fell off as he ran away, like the coward lions where, and she sneeze hautily after him with an angry nod like she expected nothing less of him. Lions were one of the weakest big cats in her own preception as they stayed in groups and had to use teamwork to get anything done. In all honesty she was sure the clan would break up once she was grown as she figured Ripplecrown and Swiftstar were only hanging around to help her grow up to be an independent member of the cat family.

"Look at your dad run. From two she-cats less than half his size." She said, of course for the lion cubs, but not to them or loud enough for them to hear. It would be rude to insult their father like that after the fact to their ears or anyone elses and showed little class.

  • "Hey look," Shah begain pointing at her shoulder as he sprang from the trees- well the back of it- it smelled overwhelmingly of monkeys when he arrived back, "You got hit."

"Oh, yeah," Willowpaw breathed light-heartedly as she looked back and licked her four long but thin cuts, "Looks like it. Well it doesn't hurt and it's not stopping me from walking so lets go back to camp and you can just I dunnol, wrap it or something."

"Won't the tiger be cross at you? At me?"

"Nah, I rushed over with Swiftstar, to help her. Besides he was just worried about my wrist cuz he was trying to stop it from happening in the first place. He won't care about this."

"Somehow I don't believe you." He said hopping on her back as they made their way back to camp.

  • Willowpaw stopped, pulling her head back a bit in suprise and confusion,

"Where? I went out to play with Shah like I said towards the lion territory." she answered confusion light but evident in her tone.

  • "And you reek of lion!" he growled. He thought he had caught the scent of blood. "And did you and Swiftstar get attacked?"

  • Willowpaw nodded as if she were having a normal conversation,

"The big lumbering frizzle-face retreated though."

"Adult male, probably the alpha male, father of the twins we met." Shah listed off giving the information he could.

  • Ripplecrown sighed. "The alpha must have passed away then. Last time I went there, the alpha was..." He paused. "Never mind."

  • Shah and Willowpaw took this oppourtunity to begin their slip away- let the adults talk while Shah took care of Willowpaw's shoulder before anyone had the chance to get a good look at it.

  • OOC: we need a med cat.

Swiftstar trusted the apprentice and her pet not to do anything stupid, so she continued to look at Ripplecrown.

  • The two got to the edge of camp and quickly Shah grabbed some webbing and began a thin wrap- the wound had alreeady stopped leaking and was congealing nicely. The webbing would just be the cover so particulates wouldn't enter the wound.

"You know," Shah began as he wrapped, "Spiders are going to come for you, keep stealiing their homes like this."

"Well I'm not the one ripping it off thier twigs- that would be you." She laughed just as quietly as he spoke watching as his deft paws became so accustomed to treating her they worked with militant speed and precision.
