"What should we do now?" Rainpaw purred.

He looked down "I'm not sure." he tried to catch his breath

"Let me show you something," Rainpaw meowed, bounding off.

Ringpaw followed her "What is it?"

Rainpaw led him to it. She pointed with her tail toward a large hole in a fallen branch and vines surrounded it. "Come in," she meowed softly, squeezing into the den.

He followed "What is this?" he looked around. "It looks like a den."

"It is very special. Inside where the plants grow, there's water, and when the sun shines on it, there's rainbows." Rainpaw meowed. The sun shone, making an arching rainbow over it. "I call this Rainbowshine." she meowed.

"Wow... How did you find this place?" he asked his eye sparkling.

"It's my secret place. I was chasing a squirrel and it ran into here, and it got stuck in the dead end." Rainpaw meowed.

Ringpaw looked around. "Lucky find... What do you mean we can meet here always?"

"Umm...I didn't say that." Rainpaw meowed. "But this is a secret place, I only invite friends, you're the only one so far."

Ringpaws ear's pricked up. I'm i her only friend? He smiled "I'm glad you showed me it."

"T-There's nests inside if you want to sleep." Rainpaw meowed awkwardly, shuffling her paws.

He looked at her. "I'm fine, but you need to rest your leg." He walked over to the nest and nodded at her. Like saying "comon"

"Alright." Rainpaw meowed, settling down.

Ringpaw laid down beside her and laid his head beside her's. "your my greatest friend..." he meowed quietly to her

Rainpaw smiled. "You're mine, too." she meowed.
