    Clawstar shook his pelt and stretched his legs. He looked around at his clan with amusement. He was going to protect these cats with his life, even if it meant using all nine.

    Darkpelt woke up, and started grooming himself.he really wanted to hunt.

    Lilypool wandered out of the medicine cat's den, looking for another cat to help her find herbs for restocking.

    Iceflame padded sround the clearing, wondering what to do. She then saw Lilypool and Darkpelt by the medicine cat den. "Hey!" Iceflame said happily to her friends. "Anyone up for getting out of camp?"

    "Yes please!"Darkpelt mewed and jumped up.

    Sharpclaw woke up.She was going to ask Darkpelt if he wanted to go hunting until she saw him leaving with Iceflame.She really didn't want to embarasse herself.she went back in the warrior den.

    "Sharpclaw!"he called back."Do you want to come?"

    Lilypool looked up and saw the cats leaving the clearing. She decided she should just go look on her own so she padded out of the camp and started her search.

    "Yeah Sharpclaw!" Iceflame shouted as they stopped before leaving the camp.

    "Sure."she replied.She really hated Iceflame because she thought one day she would take Darkpelt,her crush away from her.

    she looked and looked but found no catmint. she knew that Tigerclan might need it soon so she kept up her search till sunhigh.

    "Sharpclaw, can I talk to you?"

    Liliypool walked back to her den exaghsted. She thought of all the cats that might die because she was to lazy to look any farther, but the thought vanished from her mind when she saw something she had not expected. a clup of catmint was growing at the back of her den! she picked as much as she could and stocked the herbs. then she crashed to sleep in her warm nest.

    Iceflame saw that Darkpelt wanted to talk to Sharpclaw alone. "I guess I'll meet you out in the forest." Iceflame headed out to hunt, leaving her friends behind her.

    Darkpelt waited for sharpclaw.

    "Sure.You can talk to me Darkpelt."she meowed.She had a plan to act like she didn't have a crush on him.She would talk calmly,not get nervous,and wouldn't mutter to herself.She padded over and sat down next to Darkpelt,ready to hear what he had to say.

    Iceflame padded around and caught two mice. She buried them under a tree and went out to catch more prey. Meanwhile, Clawstar sat next to the Slipstone. "Anyone up for a patrol?"

    "Um... Sharpclaw... I like you..."
