Role play sample (must be written here, not included in bio): She was as soft and serene as the moon. Her mother had wanted to call her Serena, after the mythical, dangerous beauties. But there was traditions. Traditions that must be kept, and that her father demanded be followed. So her mother gave her a name of an ancient goddess. It still followed the traditions. Her name just had to start with an 'A' and it did, does. Her mother had loved beautiful things and naming her daughter after the goddess of beauty satisfied her in not calling her Serena. But at times, when father was away and it was just mother and daughter, Serena she would be.
Her mother had died before she was ready to live on her own. And her father had demanded that she follow 'tradition'. The other two had died. Father had said only few ever survived, only those that followed 'tradition'. She was forced to leave him before she was ready. Mother would have let her stay, but mother wasn't there. Father had forbidden her from living with her one surviving brother, but as soon as they were away from his critical eye they rejoined. So she traveled with her brother. They had the greatest of adventures. The two cougar siblings were inseparable. Until he grew up. He wanted a mate and a family. She was in the way, so she must go. He chased her off. Showing claws and fangs and a fierceness she had never seen. She fled and traveled on her own. But adventures are never adventures on your own.
The three year old cougar padded through the cold crispe leaf-bare. She didn't mind, she didn't even notice. She loved the cold and even more the cold. She moved like the moon, slowly, gracefully, silently, and spreading power to those below. Her pale honey pelt rustled in the wind as it danced around her. Two lost stars danced in her eyes as she looked around. Her soft tail brushed lightly against a tree. She had no need to be cautious of anyone hearing her. She was as silent as the dead, but who would hear her. She was a huntress a goddess among the small rodent-like cats, she was a divine one, everyone feared her. And her, no one. The beauty stopped when she heard talking up ahead. Her calm peace shattered and she became alert, ears erect. The female crouched down low in the underbrush. She gazed at the creatures with clear blue pools of blue. It had been a while since she had seen her kind. She thought the world was ruled...well more overrun, by those small-cats. She tilted her head lightly. Should she make herself known?
