    FallingAsh paced back and fourth, and he sighed, and stood up, and padded deeper into the forest, and eh froze...He could see himself..Only...It hit him with a jolt..He was watching his memories...
    FallingAsh leaned over, and peered down at his reflection, and the real FallingAsh could hear his past thoughts...I close my eyes to block out the pain...I close my eyes to block out you...I close my eyes to block out everything I have lost...But I have to open them sometime...
    He contiuned on, and stared down, at himself fighting with FlareStrike, over him not telling him that OddStar was his mother...He saw the fire...Him becoming leader...And he also saw the day where he had thought PeachTail died...Th day he turned her away...Like he had done so many times before..

    FallingAsh's breathing slowed...

    "Fallingash can you hear me?" Ravenflight said he shook him with one paw "what happened to him , did you see?" asked Ravenflight talking to Stormslash.

    "I saw him collapse out of the corner of my eye when I was battling Peachtail." Stormslash mewed shaking Fallingash with both paws.

    Don't forget how to feel....FallingAsh thought, and he padded deeper into the forest, and he paused, pricking his ears up and joy flooded into his eyes, as he saw himself as a apprentice...And his sister who had died before she had become an apprentice...
    You're so slow!" Risekit chirped, and she shoved FallingAsh as a apprentice playfully.
    "Grr! Don't make me angry! FallingPaw replied, and he stomped around like a badger.
    "Oh no!" Risekit yelped, and she laughed, and launched herself at him.
    FallingPaw easily pinned her down, and he bit her ear gently, ad she squeaked.
    RiseKit looked up at FallingPaw and she suddenly exploded with laughter when he made a face at her
    FallingAsh looked on, and a wistfulness crept into his eyes, and for some reason the numbness was returning.

    It began to grow slower...

    FallingAsh padded even deeper into the woods, and he glanced over at his shoulder, and froze, and he quickly turned around...He had to see this memory.
    "Have you ever wondered if there's...Something out there?" RiseKit asked.
    "Thanks for being specific." FallingPaw muttered, already half asleep.
    RiseKit paused and asked, "Well..I mean...Uh...Like something more..Then just clan life, or loner life..."
    "Sure...Now let me sleep..." FallingPaw replied, and he rolled over.
    RiseKit purred softly, and she prodded his side, and stared up at the night sky, "Do you know what love feels like?" She asked.
    FallingAsh snorted, and he muttered, "No...Well what kind, like loving your mate kind?
    "Yeah..."
    "Well then no...And why are you asking this?" FallingPaw meowed, and he opened one eye fully.
    "Because I think I am..." RiseKit murmured, and the she glanced at him, "Are you going to fall in love?
    "Sure...I mean I guess it's not up to me." FallingPaw answered, "It's up to my feelings..Now will you just go to sleep?
    RiseKit smiled at him, and she snuggled close to him, loving her brother even more tonight, he was the only one who would stay out in the forest with her, or take her out in the forest...Even when they weren't supposed to. "Just promise me this." She meowed.
    "What?"
    "If you find love..You hold on to it ok?" RiseKit meowed softly, although she was already drifting off to sleep.
    FallingPaw raised his head and gave RiseKit a weird look, then his expression sofetened and he meowed quietly, "I will."
    RiseKit didn't open her eyes, but she smiled even wider, and she slowly fell asleep...
    FallingAsh just stood there...

    His breathing started to get more normal...

    FallingAsh woke up with a gasp, and he shook his head, and then got to his paws, the numbness gone...He shook his head and then looked at RavenFlight, and then at StormSlash, and he narrowed his eyes, "What?" He asked, his hostility directed at StormSlash.

    FallingAsh shrugged, and he answered, "Yeah...Sure...I'm alright." He stood up and streched, "A little stiff, but other then that..Yeah..." It was true...He felt better then he had felt the past moons...



    PaperMoon observed FallingAsh, StormSlash, and RavenFlight, and she cocked her head to one side, her eyes filled with curiosity.

    Again he shrugged and then answered, "Ah well..You know..." FallingAsh then stood up,, and he left the gathering, his mind feeling clearer and his clan followed him..
