    Meko screeched as the turkeys trampled over her. Their feet pounded against her chest and head,and bruises started to form.

    Princess nodded absently as she watched Mil, she wasn't sure how to react. Normally she'd be mean but this cat was helping her...and she felt a familar feeling she had felt with the first cat that helped her all those moons ago when she first became a loner.


    "Thank you..." She murmured.


    "For what?" Mill chuckled.


    "You're helping me..."

    Whirlpool camed down to the extent she groomed in front of the bird and taunting it in a way.

    Post/2/30 Talon can speak cat by the way!
    Talon shrieked and aimed to dig his claws into the turkey's neck.

    Another turkey came across Princess and Mil's path and Princess shrank back, shaking a little but Mil smiled and pounced forward, easily killing the turkey.


    "How are you so good at that?" Princess asked.


    "Lived around here for awhile. Got experience with these things." He explained, "Ah, here it is..." He picked up a plant and started chewing on it until it was a juice and spat it on her paw, "Now it will heal better!"

    Clayfoot crept up in front of the turkey. The trick would be to force it to fight him, rather than simply running away, which he now realized would mess up the whole plan. So he was going to stalk it until he got close, then suddenly attack it. He realized he was thinking as though fighting a cat, rather than hunting - but of course, hunting for a RiverClan cat was really fishing.

    ripplekit; meko! she screeched leaping down from the tree knocking over the turkey who had hit her and biting him

    turkey #1 flails helplessly underneath the surface then finnaly pushing his neck above water gasping for breath and gobbling away


    splashshine jumps into the river begginging to swim over to where floating kit and turkey #1 are


    floating kit jumped out of the water and siezed the turkeys neck in his mouth pulling the fat bird back under amd biting down hard to hold his grip

    "What are the bird things?" Princess asked.


    "They are called turkeys. Twolegs tend to take them away, they usually stay on their farms." Mil explained.


    "Why are they so vicious?"


    "I bet prey wonders that about us too." Mil chuckled.


    Princess actually smiled at what Mil said then looked away, embarrassed for some reason. {27}

    Meko seared with pain all over,and when the turkey stampede finally cleared up,she just lay there,life draining out of her tiny,limp body.

    Whirlpool awoke to so see the turky still at the foot of the tree the next morning.

    "So do you think you'll be alright?" Mil asked.


    Princess nodded, "Yeah, I think I'll be fine." She felt a little sad that Mil seemed to want to leave.


    Mil smiled at her, "Don't worrry, I'm sure we'll see each other again."

    Mil turned and padded away and Princess sighed, turning the oppsite direction to find somewhere to rest for awhile...hopefully away from the turkeys.

    Splashshine: Dives underneath the water and swims down to where Floatingkit was and pulls him off the turkey.


    Turkey #1 Takes a few last shuddering gasps trying to stay alive but dies beggining to float down towards the seabottom.


    Floatingkit: Screeches in the water as his mother pulls him off of his prey.
