    she had a vivid idea of what had happened. She rushed down to tree and sniffed hawkeye "ohhh here you better come to my den...."

    back at camp she led Hawkeye to her den and put many hearbs and cobwebs on all his wounds then she worked extra hard on his right eye she would not let him go through the same thing she had to go through!!!"please starclan let him be alright" she thought

    "well i can't see out of ether of my eyes" she said dryly then her gaze soffened " it is probabaly only temporarry your going to stay here for a while so i can see if you get better- er- when you get better... if you have to stay any way you might as well be comfertable i'll add more moss to your bed." she said

    :o"Sorry? You shouldn't be sorry, you protected the clan and probably saved my life :-* and for that you proved to be the most loyal and noble warrior I know... :-[ if anything I should've been paying more attention and we couldv't both climed the tree ,or got a patrol to stop the fox..."Silverleaf said through the bundle of moss. " you have a pretty bad bruse on your left side and sholder from slaming into that tree,but nothing's broken... your paws seem okay... if it hurts to walk you need to tell me..." She was oviously avoiding taling about his eye.

    "I hope you like vole." Silverleaf said through a moulth full of fur she nudged the vole towards Hawkeye and she ran back and grabed a mouse for herself.

    "only a little while." she lied "oh ok i know my lie isn't fooling anyone, you might have to stay here for three moons at most, but i don't see you staying any less than a moon." ahe said sadly

    " Hawkeye it's not that bad... you will heal your vision might be foggy... but the fox didnt damage your eye that severly." she said trying to make him feel better "here you need to eat ."she said pushing the vole towars Hawkeye.

    Silverleaf blinked un-sureof what to say next " I can't run from my emotions, I love you to Hawkeye, but i... i can't be with you. i took a medicine cat oath i can't have a mate... i cant defy Starclan..., but i want to be with you i don't know what to do, how i can be with you if i am a medicine cat as well."
