"Yes" she sniffled.

Yellowkit stopped suckling and then played with her toy.

"Mama, I'm scared of the toy!" she mewled, then tried to hide herself from the plush mouse.

"Yellowkit, I'm going to wash that off, okay?" Seapelt said grabbing the toy along with Yellowkit's scruff. Seapelt washed the toy in the river and dried it off. "Here you go Yellowkit! Clean new toy! Now hold on to it!" Seapelt said picking up Yellowkit with the toy in Yellowkit's mouth.

Yellowkit bit it and grabbed it. Then the toy rattled more.

"Mama, protect me!" she mewed.

"Okay, when Yellowkit is asleep, I'll throw the toy in the river." Seapelt whispered really quietly so Yellowkit couldn't hear her at all.

"Yay!" Bluekit whispered in the same tone.

"Grrr!" Yellowkit said playfully.

"Yellowkit, are you tired yet?" Seapelt said making her lay down.

"Yes." Then Yellowkit fell asleep with the toy in her mouth.

"Mama, get rid of the toy!" she mewed.

Yellowkit had it hard in her mouth.

Seapelt grabbed the toy from her mouth and replaced it with a stick, and rushed out of camp quietly. She threw it into the water and watched it go down the river. Seapelt padded back into camp and whispered into Bluekit's ear, "It's gone!" Seapelt than layed down around Yellowkit.

Yellowkit chewed on the stick but it didn't rattle. Yellowkit woke up and got out of the nest and started looking for it.

"Thank you," she purred, happy the twoleg toy was gone.

Seapelt stared at Yellowkit. "What's wrong?"

Yellowkit got sadder and sadder by the minute. "WHERE'S MY TOY!!!!" Yellowkit yelled!

Bluekit hid behind Seapelt, becoming afraid of Yellowkit.
