Nettlepaw returned to camp. "There are only these left," she meowed sadly and set down five pieces of catmint.

Leafgaze sighed. "It will be enough... I hope." She licked her apprentice's ear. "Thank you, Nettlepaw." She took the catmint into her den.

Nettlepaw purred and went inside the medicine cat den, sweeping some stray herbs into a corner with her tail. "I am honored to be your apprentice." she meowed.

wolfclaw padded to leafgaze. "Did i just hear that were low on herbs?" she asked uncertainly.

"No." Nettlepaw lied, her voice breezy. "Just catmint, but we already have about ten with the ones we already have." she meowed.

ic: "Just making sure." she meowed cooly. "But i take to assume that everything is in order?"

she turned around. "You alright?" ahe asked.

Nettlepaw pricked her ears. "Oh, I'm fine, just a little tired." she meowed.

"Wanna hunt with me?"

"S-sure." Nettlepaw meowed, surprised. She bounded out of camp.

Nettlepaw crouched down, perfectly still. She leaped forward, catching a nice, plump, mouse in leaf-bare.

Tearstar sighed, worried about everything.

She buried the prey, satisfied.
