Zuro padded uneasily around Shadowclan's camp borders. If his brother, Rapierclaw, saw him, Zuro would certaintly be killed. But he had returned- to see his old home and how it was doing.

The form of the Shadowclan deputy soon made his appearance well-known along the border, as he emerged from a nearby clump of brambles and faced the loner. "Please state what brings you to Shadowclan's border, unless I am left to assume that you intend to trespass." He mewed, flicking his tail and sitting down.
-
"I used to live in Shadowclan, until I was a young warrior. For purposes better not told." Zuro replied. "And I have come to see what goes on in Shadowclan these days."
-
Serpentsnare's brow furrowed. Did this tom look familiar? Obviously he didn't seem hostile but rather, seemed as if a shadow followed him. "What was your warrior name?" Perhaps that would jog a memory or two, or give him enough confidence that this really was a Shadowclanner.
-
"Legacyheart," he replied.
-
Serpentsnare attempted to run through his memories, but sadly the name evaded him. "Do you still have family here? I assume so if you have the desire to check on the clan." The only other explanation would be if he were simply and utterly loyal to Shadowclan, but seeing as he had already left once...No, there had to be someone left here that he cared for.
-
"Yes..." he explained, but he really didn't want to see Rapierclaw. {I'll show you the bio link later, it says everything about his past.}
-
ooc: Okay!
Serpentsnare nodded slowly, feeling as if extracting this information hit a heartstring within the male, as he seemed hesitant to reveal anything. "Is everything alright?" He finally questioned, unsure what else to say. -
A small loner kit trotted by. Her clouded blind eyes could not see that she was on the ShadowClan border. She stumbled and rolled over the scent mark. She wore a collar which made it very obvious that she used to be a kittypet. Her paws were large for her size, so as she began to clean her face, she was pushed over. She had heard warrior voices in the distance. One of them sounded like Zuro, another loner.
-
'Er- um... it's nothing..." Zuro replied. He saw a kit from his eye corner.
-
Serpentsnare's ears flicked as he heard another cat nearby. "Come out, or I shall find you." He called in a general tone. He was tired of all these random cats showing up o every patrol, but at least the deputy could properly handle them.
He turned back to Zuro, flicking an ear. "I assume unless there is anything else, you are finished here?" If he wouldn't explain his problem willingly, the tom couldn't help him. But he also couldn't leave a loner wandering along the border, ex-shadowclanner or not.
