The Thunderlands was slow, that was undeniable, but compared to other clans it always had been. He couldn't say that was much of a problem though, he quite liked the lazier pace of the clan, it definitely meant they were less of a target when they could all mind their own business. There were less members to keep track of, the Thunderlands had very few problems, at least on the surface, but for the most part it was a little slice of heaven. Head propped up on a paw, the young man placed his other foot onto the surface of the glowing lake, watching as the sparkling water rippled outward.

Belle enjoyed the slow pace of Thunderlands. It was peaceful, atmospheric and the people here were genuinely kind, and never judged another due to their moral differences. It was...different from Painted Brigade and she honestly, loved it.. Though she had been still exploring around the place when she had stumbled upon Lloyd and what looks like to be a glowing lake. Pausing she examined it with great and wide interest. "T-this place i-is beautiful.." she said softly while her sapphire eyes examined the lake with great interest. She wondered how it even glowed in the first place as well...

  • The Thunderlands' newfound slowness was not an unwelcome change, nor was it an unfamiliar one; when Cecilia had first returned to the Thunderlands several months ago, the clan had moved at a relatively slow pace. It sped up while Marrok was her co-leader, but for some inexplicable reason, things slowed down to a near-crawl. She wasn't complaining, of course, but it was something that she had to get used to. With less things going on, she had more time on her paws, meaning she could make a habit of going to the glowing lake again. This time around, she found Lloyd and Snowbelle nearby, exchanging conversation with one another. "Yes, it is," the Chieftess chimed in as she made her way over. She could see the curiosity and wonder in the former Brigadier's eyes. "It's always been like this. No one really knows why it glows. Some say it's magic, and others say it's cursed."

Gaze drawn away from the shimmering water and onto Snowbelle and Cecilia as they approached and spoke the young man offered them both a barely there smile, weak and weary but still there. Nodding in agreement, he retracted his paw from the surface of the water, watching as the pad of it sparkled and glowed similarly to the water. He didn't think he'd ever seen anything like this before. It was pretty amazing.

  • Nerium was a curious creature. But, well .. she hadn't ended up here before she heard everyone else.

"Why would it be cursed?" Nerium demands, wading into the lake with far less care than was probably appreciated, waddling on two genet paws. Perhaps not the smartest move in the world, but she seems content, staring at the water in fascination.

Belle's gaze flicked towards the others to approach and dipped here head in greetings to them. Some...say it was cursed? Her ears twitched slightly before she turned to look back at the lake. Neruim question was similar to the own she had been wondering and she nodded in agreement fo the female's words. "I-I don't th-think its c-cursed" the knight said gently.
