Do I Have to Fight for Everything?

    Seeley padded throght the forest, stomach growling. Well it had been growling for about a week now. He caught sight of a mouse. He pounced and held it down with both paws while he killed it. He was about to eat, when a she-cat crashed into him. He looked at her and hissed. She tried to crash into him again, when he darted tot the side and she fell to the ground. He pinned her down and said "I caught this mouse, so it is rightfully mine." He got off her and let her go. He took his mouse in his jaws when he heard the she-cat almost crying. He turned around and saw her sitting next to two kits. "I am sorry guys, but we wont be eating today." she said to them, and wrapped their tail around them.
    "Mousebrain!" he whispered to himself. "How could I not scent the milk on her?!" he said, a little frustrated. He padded over to her. "Umm.... Take it." he said, as he dropped the mouse beside her. "No I couldnt-" before she could finished, he pointed with his tail to her kits. "They need it more than I do. I will catch another one.... eventually." she looked at him gratefully."I cant tell you how thankful I am!" she said. He nodded to her and watched her and her kits eat. After they left, yelling their thanks, he just nodded and padded back to his den. He curled up in his nest, and fell asleep. When he got up, he padded out of his den and stretched. He padded over to a stream and took a drink. He looked past the stream and saw the giant tree where the 'clans' territory started. He had heard stories of the clans, and how everyone says that they eat bones when really, they are a group of cats that are just like him. After he finished his drink, he climbed up at tree, all the way to the top branch and sat down. He looked at the clans territory and everything else past it. It was so beautiful! He looked up at the stars in awe. Were his parents up there? He had heard stories of Starclan as well and hoped that they were. He sat on the tree, gazing at the land for hours.

    A she-cat ran though the forest, a tom chasing her. "Come here!" Yelled the tom.

    "It is beautiful, isn't it?" a she-cat said sitting below him, looking at the stars from the ground. "You know, legends say that when a very special cat dies, a new star appears in the sky." she mewed. Her silver coat ruffled in the breeze. She looked up at him with her ice blue eyes, "I'm MoonPelt," she said smiling.

    Seeley jumped, startled. He jumped down by her. "Hello... I am Seeley." he said. "Moonpelt...... Thats uh.... Thats a beautiful name." He quite frankly didnt know what to say. No one had ever talk to him.

    Moonpelt jumped onto the branch with him,"Why thank you," she said smiling. "Are you a loner?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.

    Dawngaze, a beautiful tortoiseshell she-cat with amber eyes trotted over to them. She ignored Moonpelt and started talking to Seeley. "I'm Dawngaze," she meowed, her burning beautiful amber eyes looking straight at his eyes.

    The she-cat ran into Dawngaze."Oh my.. I'm so sorry!" She said before getting tackled by the tom. "Hello my pretty..."

    "Used to be... I abandoned them. I decided to keep my warrior name though," she sighed. "I wanna have adventure, not just stay in a den and fight for other cats." she mewed, looking out into the forest.

    The she-cats ears went back.


    The tom tried to rip, tear,maim, do anything to hurt Seeley.

    Seeley crashed into the tom again, making him get off the she-cat. He hissed at the tom. "Get out, you useless peice of fox-dung! The only thing you are useful for is feeding the scavengers!" he hissed.

    MoonPelt gasped, "Oh my.." she mewed. She jumped off the branch and stood beside the fight.

    Indigoclaw padded over "What`s going on?"She mewed sternly, eyeing the clan cats.

    She looked at Seely, "I was thinking the same thing..." she said concerned. MoonPelt padded over to the she-cat, "Are you okay?" she asked.

    "I didn`t just mean that. What is this, a loner gathering? If so, I`ll leave peacefully. If it`s not, I`ll rip your eyes out until you tell me truly if you`re a threat or not." She looked at the cats, staring at them uneasily.
