Scarletpaw sat outside the Apprentice Den awaiting her mentor's arrival. Her green eyes were bright, and her fawn tabby pelt was groomed perfectly. Her tail was across her paws as she sat. Today is a great day for training. She thought as she glanced at the sky. Even though it was leaf bare, it wasn't as cold outside as she had expected it to be.

Willowshine padded towards her apprentice with a spring in her step. "You ready Scarletpaw! Do you want to do battle training, hunting, or border patrol," she mewed cheerfully. She had officially became mates with Wolfstorm and was in an unusually good mood.

Willowshine nodded. "No problem,"she said padding out of the camp. "Okay Scarletpaw, we will be going to the ThunderClan border and I want you to be able to distinguish their scents from the other clan's, you will know the scent is unfamiliar, but you also need to know who it is."

"Let's go then," she mewed happily. Willowshine started to head towards the ThunderClan border, excited. It was nice to have an apprentice.

BiC- "Okay, we are nearing the border, now, what do you smell," she asked her amber eyes fixed on her apprentice. She herself toke in the scent, her nose twitched at the unpleasant smell. Still. she could get past the almost overpowering scent and pick out identifying scents unique to ThunderClan.
